Padano Gastro Bistro

Located in a strip mall just east of the Everglades. A neighborhood Italian restaurant and pizza place. Small menu but executed well. I started with very good fried calamari. For entrees, I had the Zuppa de pesce, clams, mussels, shrimp, and calamari over linguine Fra diablo. It was very good and nice flavors in the sauce. My ordered the chicken parm, as good as she gets any where else. A good place to go good reasonable price Italian.

This is the BEST Italian restaurant for many miles around...but dont take my word...if you try anything from their garlic bread to their salad to an entree or even pizza you will find their food offers a consistent attention to freshness, preparation and creative flavor that is hard to find and a pleasure to enjoy. The current owners remodeled the place and it is clean spacious and elegantly decorated. The place is in a great neighborhood with ample parking.

I took my little girl here to get a pizza. They treated us like we didn’t exist. The owner/waiter/whatever spent all his time catering to a large table of either friends or family members. I had to flag him down several times to try and get service. Took almost an hour for us to get a greasy, sloppy undercooked pizza with everything sliding off of it and cost me like $35. Will NEVER go to this hole again. I miss the old Mamas pizza that was in the same place. The newer restaurant is terrible.

I work in the same plaza as the restaurant, we call multiple times a week trying to get ahold of them to place an order. 99% of the time when you call it'll ring till the voicemail. When they do pick up, they'll put up "hold". For up to 10 minutes at a time. Yea they're food is good when it gets done on time.
