Saito's Japanese Steakhouse

Really fresh fillet mignon for lunch. The Hibachi grill is a fun spectacle for everyone and it makes for great food. It's not what it used to be when it called Ichiban, but nonetheless the fried rice is worth it. Like many restaurants who have had to adjust to the economic problems due to covid, the prices have spiked and may be out of some folks range. I still recommend it for a fun experience. Sushi is no longer available unfortunately

I usually don't give reviews but feel the public needs to know. My party of 5 sat down at the Hibachi table and waited several minutes before our server came over. She didn't introduce herself but shouted out what you drinking. My friend asked for Dr Pepper and she was rude in her one word response Rootbeer. She came back with our drinks and asked if we ready to order. I said I don't even have a menu and she pointed to a large stand facing away from my wife and I and said menu. I said I didn't know that was the menu and she went to it and turned it in our direction. I said I would need a minute and she left upset that we where not ready to order. She was not a pleasant person. Then our chef was another story. I thought taking my out of town guests out for a entertaining night of Hibachi would be fun. He smacked his two spatulas together loudly, did the onion volcano fire, tapped his salt and pepper shaker a few times and that was all the entertainment for the night. never been to a Hibachi that wasn't fun and a show. Not here. Had18% gratuity on my check and then they asked if we would be tipping more. Service was terrible and the chef was boring. Not worth $240.00 dollars. Oh and to top it off I haven't been able to stay 10 ft from my toilet today. Not Fun !!! Doesn't deserve one star.

Be very careful when ordering takeout from this Saitos, the food is served cold and when I called the manager he told me to put it in the microwave, it is a cheat to spend more than $60.00 to eat food heated in the microwave, that was their recommendation, they do that in the restaurant also it's not freshly cooked food it's microwaved food.

Big disappointment!! The hibachi show consisted of an egg roll and a fire volcano. The food was underwhelming!!!! The rice was ok. When he was cooking my scallops, I asked for more garlic butter. He snapped at me and said “I’m cooking now, give me a minute” The scallops were terrible and undercooked. I actually sent them back. When they returned them they were hot with a sauce over them. Still not good. Service was not good either 😒

We just left hungry, bored, and overall disappointed. We walked in around 3:45 to an empty restaurant. The host at the front had an attitude while seating us that made it feel like he’d rather not have any business than seat us, including flinging our high chair at the table. As far as the hibachi service, there is no “show” here like there are at other places. They made a volcano out of the onion and that was that. Our toddler was more entertained by the steam when the grill was being cleaned than by the hibachi. Apparently, the food being cooked silently in front of you is the “show.” As far as food taste, it was just disappointing all around. Aside from the miso soup, everything else was inedible. The ginger dressing on the salad tasted like it had soured. The hibachi food was at first bland and under seasoned. After we had asked for more sauce and garlic, the food was over salted to the point where it burnt your mouth. I left every singly piece of my steak on my plate. We left with $140 less but hungrier than when we came in and had to share my toddler’s snacks in the car. Overall sorely disappointed from the moment we walked in to the moment we walked out.

Food is decent....Manager/hostess - rude....who ever is behind the bar - it was like he was doing me a favor...no favor for $10.70 drink...with flat club soda....waiter - rude...will not go back - staff is rude and you would think during this time with so many restaurants going out of business - at least you can be nice...Will not be back to this Saito's!!!
