Griddle

Nice diner with great food and good service. Nice decorations around the restaurant. It seems like it is leaning towards a more Republican crowd considering the TV stations and the decor. I'm not a big politics person so I can care less about all that. All I know is that their frenchie breakfast crossiant was fabulous and their biscuits and gravy was even better. Not that busy either. Close to the place we were visiting too. Definitely would come back here.

Had a great experience at The Griddle. I hadn't been there since COVID and was glad to come back. Great staff, great owner. The food is good diner-style food, and the coffee is very good. The lights are bright, which is fine with me, but a couple at my party were not happy with how bright it was. It would also be good if there was some sound baffling to keep noise down, but again, it didn't bother me. Everyone in my group loved the food, loved the staff, and loved the owner. Looking forward to being a regular once again!

This place feels like home. The staff, owner and customers were warm and welcoming to this first timer. I ordered the Pork Chop and eggs with hash Browns and toast. The food was perfectly prepared and very flavorful. Do yourself a favor and stop by for breakfast or lunch. There’s plenty of space at the tables to use your laptop to do a little work.

Been wanting to try this place, so I went with my bf. Was nervous from the reviews I read. We were sat immediately. The staff were super sweet and apologetic for the long wait time. We were waiting awhile for just a refill on our drinks. They warned us the food was going to take awhile, and it took more than thirty minutes. We weren't in a rush or anything, but we were hungry haha so we started getting antsy. Finally, the food came. I got the bacon and egg white croissant with hash browns. It was just ok. The sandwich didn't have much flavor. The hash browns were good. My boyfriend was not impressed with the special omelet. Can't remember what exactly he got, but it was the one with all kinds of meats with onions and peppers. The veggies were crunchy.. he likes them fully cooked. He said the flavor was just ok. All together it was just an ok meal... really sad about that. Wanted to really like this place. I am rather surprised the food wasn't more, since it was fully packed in there.

We sat ourselves, was greeted by this woman who I was later told was the owner to get our drinks. No menus or anything. So we grabbed our own which is no big deal. Then our waitress came, very friendly woman named Kathy, she was great through our short visit. Food was taking a few minutes so my daughter was playing with the sugar packet holder. Being calm. And we would have cleaned up the packets after and put everything back. The owner woman came up and so oh no she will get poisoned and snatched it from her, which obviously made her upset. We said okay fine, even though I don’t understand the whole poison thing. She brought back these two toys I guess she gives to all the kids that come in? I don’t know. But my daughter was still really upset about the situation and started freaking out. Mind you she’s 3 so she didn’t understand, nor did my wife and I why it was an issue. Anyways the woman then went back behind the bar and stared at us for the rest of the short stay. All the staff were trying to help us to stop our daughter from her meltdown and I explained what happened and no one understood why she couldn’t play with the plastic container. Long story short we ended up leaving with our food in boxes. Got home and ate the food. Food wasn’t worth the price in my opinion and the ownership is definitely lacking in service. You could tell she was miserable. Not to mention OAN blaring on the tv about the 2016 election. Mind you it’s now 2022… our waitress and most of the other staff was friendly. But we will definitely not be returning. For the price point we could’ve gone somewhere with way better food and not have had something snatched from our daughter

They completely lack customer service here. I didn’t catch her name but the older woman with red hair was extremely rude and unprofessional. We called in a pick up order and she said 30 mins so we go in alittle passed 30 mins and the food still isn’t ready so my husband ask how much longer and she saids she doesn’t know but they are working on it. And then she proceeds to say if you don’t want the food don’t pay for it. We will absolutely not becoming back here. She was also rude when I called to place the order too.
