Sushi Of Boca

This is a small mom and pop type sushi restaurant on Federal highway in Boca. We ate there for the first time last night and some of the food was good and some of his was not so good. The miso soup is served in a big bowl with big chunks of tofu. And it was very good. I ordered the avocado salad for $10 and it is a very large salad with a generous portion of mashed avocado that I shared with my husband. You definitely need two people to eat this.. I had salmon sashimi which was very fresh and good and nice sized pieces. My husband ordered spicy tuna roll and a hand eel roll which he said was not so good.. We ate outside but you're eating next to Federal highway.

I didn’t know sushi until I tried this sushi today. Arguably the freshest fish I’ve ever had. I could taste flavors that I’ve never before tasted in sushi. The staff is extremely nice and the food was absolutely delicious. I tried the lunch menu today and the salad that came with it was huge and sooooo good. I really recommend this restaurant.

Not just the best in the area, but probably the best sushi I’ve ever had!! Although I have lived in Boca most of my life I have yet to come across a better sushi place than Sushi Jessie. From the explosion of flavors in your mouth to the beautiful presentation of the sushi, it’s truly an amazing and delicious experience. Everything I’ve tried has been so good it’s impossible to choose one roll as my favorite, but I have to say the birthday roll and the ghost roll are up there. I can’t rave about this place enough my boyfriend and I can’t go anywhere else for our sushi nights.

Low-key spot that came highly rated by a good friend of mine. We drove 40 minutes to eat there from Hollywood. Salad and miso soup alone were some of the best we’ve ever had and the sushi was top notch. We went there on a random week night and the family that owns it were the only people there and they were eating dinner together, it was very cute <3 I asked my wife where she wanted to celebrate Valentine’s Day at and she said Sushi Jessie without batting an eyelash so we will be there again tonight!!!!

My brother was recently in town for a quick visit from NYC. We were both craving sushi for lunch but it had been so long since going to a sushi place here in Boca so I wasn’t sure where to take him. On the advise of my son We went to Sunset Sushi which unbeknownst to me doesn’t open till 5 and when I walked in the guy at the bar was rude AF. Got back in my car did a quick Yelp search,Sushi Jessie had great reviews and they were down the street. Well my brother and I walked in the place was empty with the exception of one diner and it was one of those instances where we both immediately started to judge a book by its cover and turned around to walk out only to be told by the sole diner do not leave or you will be leaving the best sushi place in all of South Florida. Understatement of the year. The best sushi I have ever had. It’s family owned and they are so nice and the quality of their sushi and the sauces they use are off the charts. My brother is a sushi connoisseur and he couldn’t believe how good this food was. They have an extensive menu, and Sashimi is amazing. Do not let the nondescript look of the place deter you. Run dont walk to Sushi Jessie. I promise you that you will not walk into another sushi joint here in Boca again once you treat yourself to this amazing hidden gem. I cannot wait to go back.

Food was fine, shu mai were on the soggy side. Had the Kanye roll, which was nice. If I go back, I will do take-out only. After a long day at work, I was looking for a quiet place to have a quick bite. That is not what I encountered, unfortunately. I was the only patron in the place, and soon after I ordered, there was sustained loud screaming and running around. Got a to-go box and left.
