Mobu

Right when you walk in, and once you take your first bite of food, you can tell this is going to be one of Boca’s best restaurants. I have visited 4 times since they have opened, for both lunch and dinner. The staff is always friendly and helpful, but most of all you can tell they have the mindset of taking MoBu to greatness. I was blown away by the food and how the chef utilizes flavor. The outside seating is a must and it acts as an amazing getaway from the workday or a romantic dinner setting at night. I recommend this ‘New It’ spot to everyone in Boca.

Delightful and Delicious new find in Boca East! The cuisine by chef Monique is a fusion of fresh ingredients and vibrant flavors. Indoor and outdoor seating with a good selection of wines and cocktails. The menu caters not only to all different palates and diets including vegan and vegetarian but also fresh seafood, meat and Stir fry dishes are offered. Totally agree with other reviews when it comes to the scrumptious Bananarama dessert. Definitely come with an appetite, plan on dessert and maybe even some coffee or after dinner drink.

This restaurant needs time to growl. the staff appeared inexperienced, uncertain where to seat us when we walked in with an awkward greeting. The outdoor patio was small, cramped and loud . And the door which frequently swing open and hit the back porch chairs. The food was just OK. The spicy dishes had little flavor, much less any hot spice. Presentation was also just OK. The owners were present but too present- overbearing and more interested in where we heard about them. Give this restaurant time to mature

Mobu is by far the best new restaurant in Boca. The chef is extremely talented in creating a unique gourmet menu and the food is delicious. I have been 6 times since the restaurant opened and every time I have left very happy and ready for more. The food is incredibly tasty that I literately crave it which leaves me ready to go back for more. This restaurant is a must if you live closeby and definitely worth the trip if you don’t. Mobu is one of a kind!

What a great little gem in South Boca. Had dinner with friends here last weekend for appetizer I choose the Blackened Scallops in citrus butter sauce, which was outstanding, and for the main course the Truffle Jerk lamb Chops grilled to perfection... for dessert the homemade Bananarama... muy delicioso!!!!! Will come back again!
