Cafe Amore

This was my first time here, I kind of got tired of the other breakfast place (call no names lol). I went on a very busy Sunday afternoon. Placed myself on the wait list prior to arriving which helped with my wait. Upon arrival I checked in with the host and not too long after my party of 4 was seated. The host was very nice and helpful by the way. Anyway there was an extremely long wait for the food. Good thing I orded a mimosa because I lost some time drinking it. But seriously the wait for food was in my opinion very long. The food came out fresh however and flavourful. We all enjoyed our food so that made up for the wait from the kitchen. I would like to try here again just not on a very busy day. If you are looking for a new brunch/breakfast spot just give them a try

I was quite impressed with this chain restaurant on the quality of the breakfast they serve. Tasty and good portions. To top it off, the service was excellent as everyone was friendly and helpful. Being the first time visiting it, they gave us some free donuts and wasn’t in a rush to take our orders.

I used to love this place, but covid has caused them to be understaffed which causes long waits. Today was different, I walked in and sat at the bar and ordered at ease: Strawberry St. Germain Mimosa and Supreme Omelette. While I was having my drink I had a great surprise, a roach. I told the waitress who just looked as if it was nothing new. She didn’t attempt to knock it off the wall or anything, she just shrugged her shoulders and walked off. At this point my food is coming out and the roach is still there. I mentioned it to the next person bringing my food out and still nothing. I paid for everything, tipped the waitress and even boxed up the food left, but it’ll be my last visit for a while.

The best breakfast I have enjoyed in 45 years. Quality and price and such variety. You would think this is food served for Royalty and in the White House. Wow, such flavors and combinations to choose from. The word NO we cannot do that does not exist here. Thank you Broken Egg for raising and closing the bar in where we will be going on Sundays

Sat here almost 2 hours for a half order of beignets, and two regular plates. We were able to order in a reasonable amount of time, but waiting for our food took forever, as well as waiting for the check and to get my card back. Honestly it was at a point where if our server checked in on us at all, we would’ve just asked for the check passing the 45 minute Mark after getting our beignets, but she was no where to be Found ever. Everyone else seated around us was waiting too. We never got updated, checked in on or had water refilled. The food was mediocre. Sausage Patties were almost inedible with how burnt the one side was. I’m really not one to complain but the service here was awful and food didn’t make up for it. I felt bad spending my Money here.
