Chapala

Well as you can see we were hungry. Flautas and the verde burrito. Flautas were warm and delicious, flaky and crispy. Verde burrito was super super tender and delicious. The meat was marinated well and tasted amazing. It is two dollars for extra chips salsa and beans now but everyone has increased their prices everywhere else. The first basket is still free so don’t worry! It is a great experience snd everyone is friendly/quick which is always a great combo! Thank you!

I thought the food was good, but the old lady serving us was not very nice. I found 2 nice size bones in my pork tacos that further made her mood more sour. I tried to tell her she should check the meat in case there were more bones in the pork, but she ignored what I was saying and told me it was part of the pork. When I received the bill, she charged me for more items than I had received.

I ordered take-out food over the phone and was told my food would be ready in about twenty (20) minutes. I arrived at Chapala I was told my food wasn't ready so I took a seat, twenty-five (25) minutes later my order was ready. The service I received was not great but the food was stellar, as usual. It was still a win-win: no cooking and great food!!

This is one of my go-to Mexican food restaurants in Meridian. The service is always excellent! Alex has served us twice and he is great. You can tell he knows his stuff and is very friendly. The food was great! But you can't really go wrong with shrimp, bacon, and cheese! Now, if they only served the brown "green chile sauce," they would be the best. That sauce is in every Mexican food joint in Colorado (which is where we came from originally), but nobody seems to know what it is here. Sad times my friends! I definitely recommend this place. It's clean and charming, and definitely screams Mexico!
