Applebee's

The quality of their food was ok, but the picture of their food in their menu was different from the food. For my order I expected lots of large shrimps, based ok menu picture, but it only had couple of small ones. The overall taste was ok. Their waiters were kind, but not really good at what their are doing. Their service was not really good, they forgot 3 foods of our table and they did not even apologize.

My family and I ordered Applebee’s tonight for dinner. We paid extra to have it delivered. One of the items that we ordered was the Neighborhood Nachos Beef appetizer. These nachos were supposed to come with ground beef, a melted shredded cheese blend, queso blanco, pico, guacamole, sour cream, and fresh jalapeños. I requested the jalapeños, pico and guacamole be left off. When the food arrived, the nachos were an ABSOLUTE joke. I didn’t receive a nacho platter, I received a small tray of PLAIN tortilla chips with a few pieces of burnt ground beef. NO shredded cheese, NO queso blanco, NOTHING. To send this out to a paying customer is honestly embarrassing. When I called the Applebee’s location (West Emerald in Boise) I explained the situation to the hostess that answered and she was very friendly and understanding. She said she would transfer me to the manager to get the issue fixed. The manager on duty, Rick, was extremely rude and didn’t even try to pretend that he cared to fix it. His customer service skills were non existent. He told me that in order to get a replacement platter, we would have to come pick it up even though we paid extra for it to be delivered. He said the only other option would be to get a $15 gift card to their location and that it would be sent to my email in a few days instead of just giving us a refund. 10/10 do NOT recommend ordering from here.

I love this Applebees!!! The best staff!!! We are always welcomed with smiles. The staff, including management are genuine and real. You don’t feel like you are in an establishment, you feel like you are at a close friend or family members house. Foods great! Service is outstanding. Love and highly recommend!! Sean the server is phenomenal!!! Make sure to sit in his section if you get a chance 😉

Friendly staff. Chicken wonton taco appetizer was good and came before the entree. Chicken, broccoli fettuccine was tasty minus my favorite pasta condiment, crushed red chili. There wasn't even a bottle of hot sauce in the house. Beer was cold but I don't care what John Tapper says ( Bar Rescue ). I love beer slush from a frozen glass

I give three stars for the food being good and the manager. This location seems to be going down hill. Waited for about five minutes just for someone to see us standing in the lobby (five tables and three people at the bar). The manager came out of the kitchen with plates and said, "door", meaning people waiting and none of the workers moved. After she dropped off the plates, she sat us herself. As we waited for our food I noticed a grandma and grandchild come in, waited at the door, longer than they should have. I looked over to the bar and the male bartender was on his cell phone, finally looks up to see the two waiting, looked back at his phone and slowly walked over to seat them. Two gentlemen came in and were sat next to us and had their drinks served and order taken before grandma and child as the bartender who sat (in his area) disappeared, the manager had to go find him. With our waiter we thought it was kind of odd, after we got our food, the next time he comes around he says more as a statement, "you're all good here" and he is keeps walking and not really waiting for a response. Then we really started feeling pushed out, as one of us is still eating, our waiter shows up says, "You're all set. When you're ready to pay I can be your cashier or you can pay on the machine", puts down the check, takes my friends drink that he was still drinking and walks off. Never asks if there's anything else we would like or possibly get dessert. I barely put my food in the box as he reaches to take my plate. We truly believe his shift ended at 7 and he didn't want to have to stay a minute longer.
