Burger Time Boise

I hate to give this place anything less than four stars, but I had a pretty bad experience the last two times I was there. This place does have good food and can be very affordable, so please don't let this review stop you from giving them a try. One time I ordered a hot dog combo, and the hot dog was just not full cooked. There was a lot of dark grease on the bun too. I could only get through half of it before throwing it away :/ The second time was more recent and much more of a issue. I paid $12 for a Chicken Adobo combo. I got barely one chicken breast, with a ice cream scoop of rice and coleslaw. The adobo was grey and nearly flavorless. The coleslaw looked/tasted like it was store bought, with some canned pineapple chunks added to it. The only part of the meal I enjoyed was the roll that came with it. This place has very good buns/rolls, but sadly the flavorless/greasy adobo sauce completely soaked the bottom half of the roll. For $12, I would expect a lot higher quality than what I received. I love that this place offers non-American fast food, I just wish the execution was a bit better :/

I had been wanting to try this place for a very long time. I ordered the bacon cheeseburger. It comes with two patties, but the meat does not have any flavor whatsoever and doesn't even appear to be beef. They are about 1/4" thick, and after you bite into them, they actually look like a thick piece of leather. The 'cooked" cabbage, (I thought it would be fresh/ raw, overwhelmed the entire burger, and was very unappealing. Needless to say, after 3 bites, I had to throw it away. The onion rings were fresh, and very tasty, and the customer service was great. Maybe they should take burgers off the menu, and go with the teriyaki only. It must be the only thing keeping this place in business.
