Mcdonald's

Bought a McLeather sandwich for my late night dinner, from McDonald's on Benton Rd., Bossier City. (McChicken sandwich). I am assume the cook fried it twice, to produce this inedible, brown hockey puck! I poked the patty, forked it, & tried to see if I could squish it from sides; it did not budge. Picture attached; yes the bun, lettuce & pickle also looks unappetizing, but not inedible, as is their chicken briquette. I called to report the food quality issue. A female answered & stated she is a manager, but would not state her name. After explaining the mobile order method, drive thru pickup & how I drove home to open the sandwich, to add tomatoes, (which is NOT an option in their mobile app), I received a lecture from the lady on McDonald's food hold times, and how a patty cannot stay in the warmer for more than an hour, and how they use a timer to count down the time, before they trash it. She said the sandwich has a 7-minute hold time, on the line, after it is wrapped. Maybe they took the McLeather briquette and refried it, after it sat for an hour in the warmer. Maybe they commonly do that to fried items, so food costs are not too high, maybe their 'warming cabinet' is set to 550 degrees, maybe when they initially cooked the patty, a cook timer wasn't set, then after an hour in the warmer, it became McLeather! Regardless of how or why the thing morphed into a hockey puck, the worker who assembled the sandwich had the opportunity to exercise good judgment and implement quality control, right? They should have told me to pull up, and they would bring it out, after a new chicken patty was cooked and a new sandwich assembled. She told me to bring my receipt and they would replace it. Never said words like I'm sorry for the error or that my dinner would be french fries, only. So, I now know to patronize the Whataburger across the street from that Micky D's, and swear off the place that can't tell the difference between food & a hockey puck. Unfortunately, Whataburger always has long lines, even late at night, but better to wait in a line of cars, than to buy food, but NOT get to eat what you purchased for dinner!

I'm not difficult... but i don't even drink dr.pepper and when I politely let someone know that's not what I ordered and they say that's what you ordered only to read back i ordered a coke... please quit being rude... not every person in this town is out to make you look bad... this isn't the first time I've been "questioned " at this location. I know i don't have to come here but please... if you don't want to be nice or respectful don't choose this type of job.. otherwise a great staff
