We came here mainly for clam chowder soup and it does not disappoint! I’m normally not a clam chowder guy, but the one from Boston Sail Loft I can eat for days. We also had the lobster bisque soup, lobster ravioli and calamari salad. They all were pretty good, but their clam chowder soup is hands down the best!

Best seafood restaurant in Boston. We ordered Clam chowder, lobster chowder, fish and chips. Perfectly located at the riverside with good crowd. We went during our Christmas holidays. It was nice cozy and warm restaurant with decent service. Pretty reasonable as well. We are Definitely coming back again.

Lovely restaurant beside the harbor. We came after 1pm to avoid the lunch crowd. The Lobster with Mussel is fresh, the Lobster Roll is a bit cold, the Chowder is creamy but a bit too salty to my liking. Overall, it was a very good lunch for the three of us.

This is a place you come to if you want great seafood. Don't come to watch sports because there a limited TVs. Draft list isn't anything particularly exciting. But the food is awesome - the smell of fresh seafood hits you as you walk in. Pic related is the lobster bisque they had on special. Portions are very generous and service is good. Great views of the water. It can be a little noisy.

Great restaurant in a great location!
The New England clam chowder is excellent. Best in Boston (so the waitress told us... And said she had to as part of her contract. Lol). It actually was the best we had while in Boston. It is heavy in dill though, so keep that in mind if you don't like this particular spice.
My wife had the swordfish sandwich, which was delicious. I had the Reuben, which was good, not great.
Service was absolutely top notch. We'd definitely come back.

One of the top 2 or 3 lobsters I've ever had. Our entire party loved the food, service & the low-key atmosphere. Both the mussels or salad option with the lobsters were very popular.
The onion rings were an excellent complement to the lobsters. Also had clam chowder which was v good.
If you can come at off-peak hours the experience is super-chill :-)
Highly recommended. We look forward to returning soon!

Went to Boston Sail Loft on a weekend trip a few weeks ago. The lobster roll and clam chowder were so delicious (compared to another place we tried) that we ended up coming back again for a 2nd time! They give you LOTS of lobster and a good portion size chowder that tastes incredible. Great views of the harbor too, good atmosphere and good company. Will definitely recommend this place to friends and family!

We had such a good experience. Our servers were super friendly and great!! The food was amazing. I was expecting it to be good but it was even better than my expectations. The flavor was outstanding! Overall really good and I hope to make it back soon!!

The food was amazing. Lobster bisque was one of the best things I've ever eaten in my life. Lobster was extra fresh and really size, easy to break apart, calamari was very good, the combo platter was amazing also with really decent portions. Highly recommended. Service was also top notch.
