Antonio's

After spending all day in the ER at Mass General, my 3 gal pals and I were starving. I googled restaurants near me and found Antonio’s was a mere 3 minute walk. We were hoping to be seated at 4:45 on a Saturday and walked in without a reservation. Lucky for us the owner was standing nearby when we walked in and said he would seat us if we could be done by 6 as he had a party coming in. Yay for us!! We had a scrumptious dinner, great service and were out by 6 as agreed. Unfortunately, one of us did a face plant on the road that required a trip to the ER at the beginning of our day. We missed our afternoon reservation in the North End and our train ride home but Thank you Antonio’s for saving our girls day out. We all agree, we will be back when we get to do our redo girls day!

Great food! Typical Italian/American food. Our starter of mozzarella, prosciutto & tomatoes was excellent! Very fresh. My Chicken Parmigiana was very good as were my husband’s Spinach/cheese Raviolis (They tasted homemade). Generous portions. Small restaurant so the noise level was quite high. Not a place to go if you want a romantic dinner! However, the noise is people having a good time & enjoying their food!!

1st time in Boston, and we ended up in Antonio's. It's a very small place, and sadly there was a birthday party that night. They made it almost impossible to carry on casual conversation because they were extremely loud. Service was good, and portions are very generous. My chicken parmigiano was delicious.

I am reluctant to share this restaurant on a review as in my selfish way I don't want it to get bigger. This intimate restaurant is all killer and no filler. Fresh made pasta and sauces, served on white tablecloths in an otherwise non pretentious atmosphere at fantastic prices make this a place to go for anything from a casual lunch/dinner to date night to impress the one you take on your local knowledge of good cuisine. My favorite is chicken fazolli (sp? - a special). Spicy sauce with chicken, onions over a bed of pasta. Add a Peroni or a bottle of wine and eat like a king.

Amazing dinner experience here. First time in Boston. The reviews don’t lie. This place is really full of love, you can feel it from the service to the food. Highly reccomend coming here if you’re in the area. It’s small and quaint. Ask the server for suggestions on what’s best! The dish I had wasn’t even something I would have chosen on my own unless my server suggested. Great spot !
