The food is absolutely delicious. Nobody is going her for the ambience (which is fine, just nothing fancy). The falafel is great as were all the toppings. I highly recommend the place.

Great find in the downtown area for all - carnivores, vegetarians and vegans. Delicious and healthy options. Not expensive. Great sauce selections. Loved it! (I love food so can't give anything that's not absolutely incredible five stars. But this is truly a great option for lunch.)

Fantastic food, great and friendly service, decently sized seating. I discovered this place almost 5 years ago when I had to serve as a juror on a big trial at the courthouse next door over the course of a few weeks. I probably went here at least 5-6 times during those weeks. Since that trial, every time I wanted to come back, something always came up... until today. The real deal always stays consistent lol

This is a lunch favorite of mine. Service is fast. All the ingredients are homemade that day. I get kale with hummus and falafel and lots of toppings. I have never had a bad meal here, and the price is just right.

Flavorful and fresh, with amazing seasonal toppings that rotate and a great spicy sauce. I highly recommend for anyone looking for a healthy and delicious lunch. Be mindful of their closing, time, and that they are not open on weekends. Lemonade here is A+ too.

The owner of this restaurant is probably one of the friendliest people I've ever met. My sister and I wandered in on a rainy day and he went to his car just to get us an umbrella, even after we'd explained to him we were from out of town and he knew doing so wouldn't be an opportunity for building customer loyalty, he just did it cause he's a wonderful human being

First time ordering here. I placed an order online for a Gozi chicken with Hummus, Feta, Olives and Tahini, and a peach tea. When I arrived at the time it was supposed to be ready, the order was not ready. The gentleman promptly got the order ready but did not have any peach tea. I took another one and left with my order. I got back to the office and and took a bite.. it was delicious, except for one problem. It was not chicken, hummus, feta, olives and tahini. Instead it was (more expensive) steak, greens, and some spicy sauce. While they got the order completely wrong, to be honest, it was Delicious! Fresh and full of flavor. Food = 5 Star (minus 1 for the goof ups). I'll still be back again though. Update: A voice message was left by Tim on my phone soon after I left, but I did not realize it until it was too late. He offered to bring the chicken Gozi to me and was apologetic for the mix up.

All of the toppings are so fresh and perfectly seasoned to compliment the flavorful, moist chicken. I have been here a number of times and never experienced dry chicken! The falafel is also one of the best around. I prefer to go with either just chicken or just falafel, but people tend to order half chicken/half falafel to get the best of both worlds.

So good! Fresh and tasty. Maybe my favorite place we ate on our visit to Boston! The staff realized we hadn't been there before and explained all the options. Very friendly. Then as I was ordering I wanted to get chicken and order a side of falafel to try it, and they informed me I could do half/half and the price would be in the middle of the two ($6.75 for that) and it was so much food! Then you get to choose as many toppings as you want! Would definitely return if we weren't leaving town today.

Ok guys. I get the hype now. One of the major downsides of working in Cambridge is that I don't get to try out all these exclusive downtown lunch spots with limited hours. So during a rare day off of work, I made it a point to pay Piperi a visit. I arrive a bit before 2 PM and there's absolutely no line. One of the staff behind the counter asked if I'd been before, and when I answered in the negative, he excitedly said that he'd show me the ropes. He explained the styles (Gozi wrap, mezze plate with lettuce and rice, or salad bowl), entree choices (chicken, steak, veggies, falafel or a mix of any 2), and then said that any and all of the toppings were on the house (although the board only says 4 are included). Let's do this then! I opted for a falafel and steak salad, and then piled on the white beans, Moroccan carrots, hummus, yogurt, and 2 types of spicy sauce. All of the colors just screamed health! I then asked about the free Gozi chip offer with Yelp check-in. He responded that they tend to run out of chips later in the lunch hour, but he would check in the back and if there were none left, then they would give me a free drink instead. The free drink offer was so nice and unexpected! Luckily they did have chips left, so he bagged some up for me with a smile. The (hefty) salad came out to be $7.75, but I also got $1 off by using my LevelUp app since it was my first time there. And with the free chips and mounds of toppings, I had a sizeable meal on my hands! I recommend mixing up as much of it as possible, since at first the toppings are separate, and the lettuce on the bottom is dry. However, once things get moving, there is so much delicious in every bite. Although I'm definitely a meat lover, I actually preferred the falafel to the chewy steak since it was warm and just the right crunchy-chewy consistency. After devouring a bit over half my portion, I felt full but not stuffed, and energized from the natural ingredients. The food is a great value, a solid 4 rating, but the personal service with a smile really pushes Piperi to a 5. Definitely put a Pip in my step!
