We dined here on Christmas Eve, and we were seated immediately at a beautiful table upstairs by the window. The food was some of the best Italian I’ve ever had and came very quickly, facilitated by our server, Rahim, who really tied the experience together. He and was so on top of all of our needs and gave us the best recommendations, on top of making sure we never saw the bottom of our glasses of Prosecco. We started with the Calamari and Mesculin Insalata, which I would both highly recommend. For entrees we shared the lobster ravioli and Fusilli con Gamberi, which Rahim recommended and we were so glad he did. Both pastas were a perfect al dente and the sauces were to die for. We finished with the cheesecake and tiramisu for dessert, and got in an intense argument over which reigned supreme because both were so great. We’re from out of town but will definitely be coming back here anytime we’re in Boston. Thank you so much to Rahim and the team for having us on Christmas Eve!

I never write reviews but this experience compelled me. We were celebrating and came here unexpectedly for an early Friday lunch looking for anything decent and quiet, but the meal and experience turned out to be amazing. Great drinks, great food, and great atmosphere. Everyone enjoyed their meals but it was tough to choose from all the options. And when our server learned that we were there for a celebration, he very kindly offered us the most delicious tiramisu we had ever had plus flutes of champagne. He went above and beyond to make this a wonderful afternoon. I rarely ever eat out in the North End but I will definitely be back here.

Truly amazing dinning experience, can’t wait till I go back to Boston so that I can dine here again. Great location, lively inside, food and drinks all taste amazing. Great service, waiter was super knowledgeable. There was a live violinist and singer for about 35 minutes while we were there which was a cool surprise We did have a reservation for 7:45pm, our first mistake was walking the wrong way which then resulted in us being about 10 minutes late. We then had to wait a bit longer, got seated at 8:20pm. But definitely worth the wait

It's so good that I went back twice on one trip. On Thursday, I went to dinner with 18 co-workers, and on Friday, it was myself, the kids, and grammy..... Both nights, the food was amazing. The portions were huge, service with a smile, and everything tasted amazing. I made them aware of my gluten issues and they were very careful about it. Having the windows open, as musicians strolled by on the street, was an added bonus and I will most certainly be back!

Visiting Boston, of course you go for Italian. Ex NY'er here. The north end eateries are as good, maybe better than what I'm used to in NY (The Yankees still rule but we can argue later over a cannoli). My daughter picked this place, rather randomly, and it did not disappoint. Everything we ordered was very good. The olive oil for the bread must have had some addicting substance in it because I couldn't stop eating it. Actually, I loved it.

The food was excellent but our server Tommy was the highlight of our visit! Super attentive and personable. Took care of explaining smaller kid portions and made my mom feel comfortable despite her difficulty hearing things. Lasagna was very good, rich with whipped ricotta. Octopus app, rack of lamb, meatballs and spinach salad were all raved about. Highly recommend.

My partner and I decided to split Gnocchi Alla Sorrentina, which was a great choice as the portion size was large enough to feed both of us. The gnocchi was incredibly tasty and cooked to perfection. To wash down our meal, we ordered two espressotinis which were also delicious. Overall, I found the prices at Ricardo's Ristorante to be very reasonable for the amount of food we received.
