Beantown Pastrami Co.

I’m giving 5 stars because genuinely the pastrami sandwich and baked beans were insanely good. It’s tucked into a market of other vendors so you’re not going to a restaurant front just btw! I do wish they’d give an accurate wait time, if it’s going to be 10-15 minutes just set my expectations right instead of just saying 5 minutes to everyone. Would go again though!

One of the best meals in the Boston Public Market! My go to is the pastrami rueben- the star of the show here is the pastrami which melts in your mouth, incredible. They do a phenomenal job on the slaw too though, the whole sandwich comes together perfectly. Lots of cool sandwich options here too is the Reuben is not your thing. Matt is one of the friendliest guys I’ve meant… ask him to put pickled jalapeños on your sandwich so spice it up!

Beantown Pastrami Company located at Public Market, 100 Hanover St, Boston, MA 02108 in the Boston Public Market, is a quality eatery for Freshly made Pastrami and Corned Beef. They also have Turkey sandwiches. Staff (Chris) was great - helpful, and the bread was good too. I preferred the Corned Beef to the Pastrami. I’m really picky about Pastrami - this was good though! Wasn’t fatty either which was nice.

Okay so I'm ready to top 10% in the world or whatever reason by Google maps for a piece of restaurant reviewers but I decided to give a review of beantown pastrami company today so I'm going to get it four stars. I would have given at 5 but here's the part that really confusing the entire thing as a whole combination all together as a whole, however I didn't taste the pastrami it was kind of like fluff in the middle of the entire great flavor of everything else altogether. But when the name of the company is beantown pastrami I could not even taste the pastrami.

I ordered their classic sandwich. The pastrami is tasty, the mustard they use is tasting really good with an exciting amount of spice. The only thing that I think can be improved is the ratio between cheese and pastrami ( now it’s about 50,50). I think they can put more pastrami in their sandwiches( even if the price goes a bit higher), but the result will be a lot better.

My daughter said it was the best sandwich she ever had. She liked that she could taste everything from the meat, cheese, pickles, mustard, etc.. I agree. It was very good. We both had pastrami and chose our own toppings. We also had the coleslaw which was just like my mom used to make - lots of celery seed, not creamy. We put it generously on our sandwiches and that just put it right over the top. Both employees are super nice as well, and imo, that makes the food taste better. Go here, enjoy the public market locale. It’s inviting with lots of options and varied places to sit while enjoying your food.
