Delicious food, convenient ordering style (all digital). Would highly recommend the fried fish & noodles, one of the best spots in Chinatown.

The New Golden Gate Seafood Restaurant in Chinatown, Boston (“Bahstan” for some of you…) was recommended by a friend who said the food was very good. She did not tell a tall tale—this place is a keeper!
On a cruise we hit Boston and made sure to have lunch. A bit hard to find at first (it’s immediately by the Chinatown Gate at 66 Beach Street (if you read Chinese do NOT go by the name of the street in traditional Chinese!), so use you map app to good advantage.
Since we were on a cruise, we didn’t want leftovers, so ordered only 2 dishes: Buddha’s Delight and a 2-pound lobster. Both were delicious, but be aware that MSG was used in the vegetables, for those who are sensitive (I am, but I got only a slight head-buzz from the MSG).
If you live in/around Bahstan or are visiting, be sure to stop in and enjoy good traditional Chinese food (or American-ized Chinese food, if that’s your deal).

Definitely not the most authentic Chinese rest but lots of options and very accommodating for our large group. Really enjoyed the Walnut Shrimp, Scallion Pancakes, Fries Chicken.

Lunch menu is cash-only and my experience was less than stellar, but it did include a lot of rice.
However, my dine-in Orange Chicken was lovely and delicious.
I suggest dining in, but please remember to tip.

Good food. Great prices. Not much on atmosphere but the food the reason to stop by.
Ordered their lunch specials. Tasted fantastic! Large portions. The waiter asked for cash only.
Our taste buds, stomachs, and wallets were completely satisfied.
We ordered the Fish with Vegetables & Rice, Beef with Bitter Melon & Rice, and the West Beef Chow Foon. When you look at the photos, you will see just how big the portions are.

The new Golden Gate in Boston is the same Chinese seafood restaurant that it replaced with the same name with good quality and consistently tasty seafood offerings. The only difference that struck me is a new selection of bundle servings that allow sharing for a large group. Some new menu and seasonal specials are exotic seafood fares that must be popular to their local clientele. This is not fine dining as furnishings are very spare and staff and some customers loudly speak to each other :)

Dish of the day goes to "Giant Clam with stir fried glass noodles"
Fried rice is done perfectly as always both taste and texture.
Crab and prawn dishes taste good but not convenient to eat. Better with hands, not recommend for people who don't like eating with hands.

I was walking around Chinatown and some of across this place I went and tried out their food and it was extraordinary. Compared to Chinese place is not in Chinatown. The food was fresh. The vegetables were cooked just right everything with seasoned equally, and the sauce was well balanced, and it was so hot That it was fresh out of the wok even though it was burning hot I kept eating it because it was so amazing

Pork fried rice. (The sauce concentrate tastes like applesauce. Add it to your rice.)

Wish we had room for more as we noticed a lot of local patrons phoning in orders of beef chow fun, but we thoroughly enjoyed our lunch - can’t beat this Cantonese-style cooking
