Went in for a full left hip replacement with Dr Jacob Drew. My interactions with him and his staff were always positive. He took the time to explain the procedure and answer any questions that I had. He even called to check in the night before my surgery. I would highly recommend him for anyone needing a hip or knee replacement.

Dr. Dowlatshahi is a knowledgeable, experienced and very talented hand surgeon. He’s genuinely attentive to his patient, is easy to talk with and listens carefully. He has a quiet, caring manner, and is very gentle as he handles the injury before and after surgery. His authentic regard for each patient and being highly skilled as a surgeon is totally assuring. He is a superlative physician hand surgeon.

Dr. Wixted is special: a careful, thoughtful, and artful surgeon. I also find him to be very insightful and responsive. The longer we have known each other, the better my care has become. For example, he now knows that I like to have things explained in greater detail. He complies and I am appreciative.

The Chelsea BIDMC site is fabulous! I had never been there before. Easy to get an appointment there with my Sports Medicine doctor. Much easier than getting one in Brookline or Chestnut Hill. Easy to drive to (Early morning appointment) from downtown Boston where I live. Plenty of free parking. And best of all, a very smiling, friendly, patient-oriented staff from the receptionist to the radiologist to the doctor. A t star visit!

Dr Davis is one of the best. He cares about his patients, and provides excellent care. I had a knee replacement and rotator cuff surgery with him and had minor complications damn near no complications. And my knee he gave me a new knee and straighten out my leg cause I had a slight bend. I can’t say enough about Dr Davis, BIDMC is lucky to have him best orthopedic surgeon hands down.

Dr. DeAngelis is a warm and straightforward doctor. Upon hearing my difficulties living with the splint the emergency room gave me for my broken humerus, he suggested I try taking it off for a moment. Seeing that I was comfortable with out it he suggested I replace it with a sling. By the next morning my hand which by the appointment had more than tripled in size, and looked like an overstuffed turkey glove, reduced to just a little larger than usual. He also went above and beyond to ensure I could receive care as soon as possible, fitting in our appointment last minute, and making arrangements to have my surgery performed as soon as possible.
