We have eaten at the Royal Oak (Mareham le Fen) a few times now and each time the food and service has been fantastic. On this occasion we had the Roast Pork Sunday lunch and it was delicious, everything on the plate was so tasty and the presentation was great, worth every penny. On other occasions we have had the burgers and the cod & chip, also very tasty. Each time that we have dined there, the service has always been brilliant, no matter which member of staff its been, they are all friendly, polite, attentive and create a lovely atmosphere. From our experiences, we would not hesitate to recommend The Royal Oak.

Excellent lunch at the Thursday Lunch Club, served from 12 noon - 2pm.
Choice of about 5 mains and 5 puds (varies each week) - we both had the steak & Stilton pie with mash & peas, followed by lemon cheesecake & apple pie. All for £8.95 per person (smaller portions obviously but ample for us).

Fish and chips was amazing. Kids fish fingers were great too. Service was class by the one member of bar staff that was doing everything. They simplified their burger for my picky daughter too. A great experience.

Love this pub! Staff are so friendly, and accommodating. It has a warm and friendly atmosphere, and great music last Saturday in the month.
Food is fabulous, and it’s lovely to just pop in after work, or spend the whole evening.

We spotted the pub after stopping for fish & and chips, and as the weather was wet and we were camping, we decided to book for dinner the next day.
We're glad we did. The staff were great, and although rushed off their feet were really attentive and very friendly.
The food was amazing! We were stuffed with really a tasty meal.
That evening we booked for Sunday dinner the next day. Again, a really tasty dinner and great portion sizes. Lovely Yorkshire puddings (the boys had extra for a small charge)
We'd definitely return, and hopefully, it'll be soon!

Just had lasagna then a strawberry cheesecake. wow, they are both the BEST I've ever had. So well presented too

Excellent Pub and Restaurant. Prices reasonable, and nice friendly staff. The Steaks and the Seafood Plater were excellent, as was the Sticky Toffee Pudding.
Nice Beer, and pleasant ambiance.
Watch your head, there are some areas with low wooden roof beams.
