Hickory's Restaurant And Bar

We were trying to get a reservation to this particular restaurant since Wednesday. Read the reviews 5 star or 4 star. We eventually got there; so disappointed 😞. Ordered entree Lobster risotto with Saffron and roasted fennel. Verdict 🤯 They served us raw lobster accidentally 🤦🏽‍♀️ Then we ordered warm pears 🍐 with blue chesse, radicchio, watercress and Walnuts. Again it came without watercress and Walnuts. We told them to cancel all our 3 course meals. Although they didn't charge us, it left a bad taste in our mouth (pun intended). 🤷🏽‍♀️ Even the tables were not clean. The service was not good. Rating will be 1/5

A wonderful restaurant for lunch. We went on Boxing Day and were the only people there. We received fantastic service and the food was really yummy. Everything is very reasonably priced with generous portions. One of the meals we ordered wasn’t available and they even offered us a complimentary drink to apologise. This kind of customer focused service is very rare these days. We will certainly go back!!

My parents and I went to Hickory's restaurant on Sunday and we were served by Wayne. We had excellent service, amazing food, it was a wonderful roast carvery and a magical desert. We went to celebrate my birthday and it was truly an absolute delight. Service was impeccable, food excellent, extremely well cooked. I loved every moment and so did my parents. So three five stars from us. Thank you to Hickory's restaurant for making my birthday celebration wonderful.
