Dos Hombres

Pizza isn't bad. Although not sure if it was just a staff member or the owner but we got there late one night and asked one of the ladies at the desk if we could still order. She asked a guy who said nothing except "hurry up" I said "me or the lady" and they said "both" I'm generally not one to complain about customer service but damn that was just straight up rude. I honestly would have rathered them nicely tell us they were closed for the night and not get anything than just be straight up rude. Basically if you want decent pizza but terrible attitudes from some of the people this is the spot to go.

The restaurant is a nice setting and the staff were fairly friendly, however service was very slow. We waited a long time to order then a very long wait for our food, when our food arrived one meal was missing so I then had to wait even longer for my meal. The food itself wasn’t bad but just very average.

BD house special pizza and pancetta pizza were good. A thicker crust but still a nice bite and flavourful. Pasta extremely bland; watered down, no distinct flavour and required salt to give it some kind of taste. Caprese salad looked like the salad had been sitting in the dressing for a while. Realistically it was a garden salad with cheese and not traditional.

2nd and final chance with this place. First time the pizza was burnt black. One of the pizza makers actually called another guy over to deliberate over the state of the pizza. The other guy nodded and Waved it out. Called and gave some polite feedback about this issue. You’d think that if you have to deliberate over whether food is fit for a customer, it probably isn’t. Ordered a pizza tonight, 15 minutes until ready. Ok no problem. Arrive after 20 minutes. Pizza not even prepared. Pizza gets made, then in a rush to get me out, the pizza is undercooked to the point of being inedible.I wasn’t even in a rush and would’ve happily waited for a properly cooked pizza. Threw it in the bin. Thanks for a frustrating ending to a really long day. And thanks for wasting my time and money. Never again.
