Lu's Bbq

Personally I think the BBQ skewers were one of the best in Melbourne. Lamb, chicken giblets, chicken skins, chicken wings were all my favorites. Food came out nice, hot and quick. The place is quite clean too, unlike other similar BBQ places that you feel sticky everywhere. And YES, I will be back for more.

Having supper with my husband and his co-worker. Good value, aromatic, and tasty. Provided cumin ground & chinese five spice on each table for yourself to add if you like. However, need to order through "WeChat" after scanning the QR code. Can pay through the "WeChat" or go to counter and pay by cash/card. And their last order time is before 11:30 p.m.

Food is good this is why i would come back with my my but wait time is long. This is second time i came here and experienced long wait both times. Waiter didnt show us how to order, we got seat and wait for a menu because we didnt aware of self service order but the waiter should of told us when we got seat.

My partner and I were craving for Sichuan BBQ in the area and came across this place with loud but jamming Chinese music. Very up beat vibe however the food was.. OK. Good value as the last Sichuan BBQ I had was double the price for two people. It had a great variety on the menu but there were a few items sold out. But I sensed the food wasn't fresh and nor properly grilled. The most disappointing was the whole squid. It wasn't entirely grilled and tasted if it came from the freezer. It had a rubbery texture and a marinade that didn't have the right flavours. The winners were the chicken wings (garlic flavour) and potato slices! Ordered them twice! Service was quick and didn't have to wait too long in between orders. Overall, it meets the needs for your taste of Sichuan BBQ but in my opinion, there's better out there.
