The Golden Teapot

It's rare to find a proper tea room in Canada so this place is special for us. The location and the offerings are very much on par to what you'd find in the UK - minus a Victoria Sponge :) Visiting this tea room makes us feel like we're back in a small village tea room in the UK. The service is excellent. The scones and clotted cream are delicious. The tea itself could be improved but we can overlook that because of the fantastic ambiance.

We had a wonderful time today! The host Linda is one of the sweetest people I’ve ever had serve me. She was so incredible sweet and very particular on details. Everything was so nicely done and tasted so good! Definitely will be returning! Also the art gallery and staff were fantastic!! Definitely would recommend!!!!

I can't say enough about our experience, beautiful location and a very nicely ordained room. The staff was so super friendly and sweet she definitely made our visit that much better . Now as far as cost it's not cheap for 4 of us having high tea it cost 178.00 with a tip which was very well earned, I didn't stress about the cost because of the quality of the food and the staff experience but keep it in mind not really a budget choice . Free entrance to see the art gallery was included with the cost I will definitely be back !
