The Tasty Yolk

Surely this food truck is very well known to the people of the area. I was passing through on a road trip. Thanks to the comments and ratings of other people who write their experience with food places, it is that I stop for breakfast here. It was great because it was VERY cold and I was bringing my pet with me, so I wouldn't have been able to stop for breakfast at a restaurant. Here, I got out of my car, made my order (which by the way was difficult to choose because all the options looked really good), my pet was calm because he never lost sight of me, my order was ready in five minutes and very comfortably and warm I was able to have breakfast in the car and then continue with my trip. The sandwiches are very tasty, the prices are very affordable and the service is fast. What more can I ask for?

The tasty yolk lives up to it's namesake! Very happy with the service and the quality of my morning breakfast sandwich here. I've been patiently waiting to try what they have to offer. Next time I look forward to trying the chorizo or the steak sandwich, for sure. At any rate, the prices are from $5 to $8. I got the Pig which is a bacon, egg, and cheese ($5). I was offered their green sauce and hot sauce on the side - they also sell those by the jar at $7. I usually go with mayochup on my bacon, egg, and cheeses but the green sauce here gave the sandwich a nice kick. Also, they came with the crispy bacon, perfectly cooked eggs, and the crazy soft bun action! Definitely check them out. Just tried the Fatone with spicy aeoli. . . Banging! Fresh. The grilled smash potato had other people wanting my food - period.

I just had a bacon and egg sandwich as well as a loaded potato with bacon, Pico de gallo and topped with a fried egg. Ate half of both before this review. The food was hot and very fresh, as I watched the chef cook my food. The service was great and very friendly. My order was prepared quickly. I would definitely recommend this place to try and would go again. The price point is right in the middle and very affordable. Great food!!!!

Absolutely delicious! I had the January special and the textures and flavors were delicious. Girlfriend has the bacon egg and cheese on a brioche and that was delicious as well. I think it was called the pig. If someone knows the owner tell them to serve coffee. They’d make a killing with the extra item on every purchase

LOVE THIS PLACE BEST BREAKFAST SANDWICHES!!!! I am rewriting and reposting my review of the Tasty Yolk. Like I said before the food is absolutely delicious and I love it.After a recent bad experience the owner Mike went Above and Beyond to make things right and truly blew me out of the water with his response. So now I have to make things right with him. .Thanks Mike for your response and I will tell everyone I meet to come check you out and I will always be a loyal customer.

Always friendly and great food would give 5 stars but last couple times my wife's banker was majority fat... however the products used are locally sourced and quality, the people are always friendly and accommodate all requests as well.This place rocks it. The pig is amazing! The rolls are super buttery and egg n bacon cooked to perfection.
