I'm not really sure what it was about this place (maybe the cute old school tables?) or the delicious vegan soup and a crumpet, but I left this place telling the person behind the counter that I really enjoyed my time here. And I had two hours of work calls to listen in on! It just has such a lovely ambiance without being trendy or pretentious. The art on the wall at the moment was stunning as well.

I've been a regular at this cafe for quite a while, and while everyone on the staff is incredibly friendly, there's a special touch that comes on Saturdays when the lady who's always impeccably dressed in vintage attire. Her genuine smile creates a welcoming atmosphere, making every visit a joy. Her warm presence and welcoming add a unique charm to the place. It's a bit of a weekend treat, making Saturdays at the cafe extra special. Highly recommend for both the exceptional brew and the inviting ambiance🌻

Portland is a haven of serenity. I had the winter vegetable soup which was incredibly warming, delicious and wholesome. The relaxing background music and the great service created an atmosphere that put me at ease immediately. I could feel and taste the love that goes into running the place and the food and drinks. An amazing afternoon break. Will definitely go back!
