Shelter Hall

I have been to Shelter Hall a couple of times now and both times it has been excellent. Friendly and welcoming staff, great views, and great food. Ordering is seamless through the app which allows you to put together an order from a range of eateries. Service is quick and prices are fair. Highly recommend this place.

Pleasantly surprised by this place! So much more than you’d expect from a food hall. The first place my partner and I went for food on our trip, expecting an average fish&chip meal, but god was it good. Service was great, food was great, location, atmosphere, everything. Went back later in the evening for cocktails which were also amazing.

Great food served promptly. Lots of options to choose from. Plenty of seating inside and out. The atmosphere is relaxed with subtle background music mixed with noises from the kitchens and chitchat. Lots of drinks to choose from at the bar. There are more craft/local ales than your big brewery brands. All the vendors are cashless and ordering is simple via QR code. Suitable for large groups, families, couples or individuals. Everyone can order something different from different cuisines and for all appetites. Pricing is pretty reasonable for food, drinks are quite expensive at £6.50 a pint although I suspect that’s quite standard for Brighton and I am a northerner! Would definitely recommend and visit again when in the area.

Perfect place to chill on the beach - Sea Front, choice to order from multiple outlets, indoor & outdoor seating - Recommended! Staff were very helpful. we spilled our food by mistake. They voluntarily & generously offered a new complimentary serving. They could add few more options for Vegans/Vegetarians.

Delicious food, fun vibe, good service - it gets 5* because for a casual food hall, it doesn’t disappoint. Six different chef-led food brands, each different cuisine, catering to a range of tastes. So for example, RYBKA (The Fish Likes to Swim) is a Brighton fish and chip shop from founders Harry and Raf who have their pop up there. I tried Cairovan from Momen…so good! Not sure how often they rotate chefs and cuisines but Good choice of wine, cocktails and craft beers as well. Definitely worth checking out! Booking if you want to sit outside is recommended!
