Hoogly Tea Lodge

A wonderful place very worth finding tucked away near Preston Park. Tina and Paul, the owners, couldn't be more welcoming bringing Danish hospitality to Brighton. The atmosphere is always relaxed and an extra bit of care is taken for the food on the menu. A great venue to sit and have a peaceful coffee or to do a bit of work or thinking. But also great for meeting friends or attending one of the many regularly arranged events (book club, open mic night, games night and more). Not forgetting the great choice of teas and of course Hoogly does coffee too. Thoroughly recommend this place.

Well, I wasn't expecting what greeted us when we went inside. We've walked past so many times and finally took the plunge after being persuaded by our son and daughter-in-law. Oh, and our granddaughter also happens to love their babychino. Full marks for the decor, cakes, and coffee - all boxes ticked. We'll definitely be returning on a regular basis. 👍🏻

I cannot speak more highly of this place. We organised a group booking for friends and family after a funeral in Brighton. Tina and the other staff were so helpful. They provided delicious sandwiches, cakes, toasties, macarons and endless tea & coffee. I would absolutely recommend this place for just a drop in but certainly for a group booking. Thanks Tina!
