The Burrito Bar

Attend this shop regularly however this is my first bad experience. I bought the burrito lunch special as a takeaway order. The girl at the counter said it should be a 10 minute wait. I sat down and the store was as getting busy so the wait time increased. After waiting 40 minutes, I noticed a full family table was served before me. I went back up to the counter and noticed my food sitting under the heat lamp while the two girls at the counter were talking to a friend or family member. I tried to get there attention but to no prevail, until I interrupted them and asked if that was my food. The girl passed me the food and once I got home, the chips were mushy and stone cold. The burrito was also lukewarm. I Will keep going back to the shop due to past good experiences, however today was very disappointing

I love the food here. However right now I’ve been waiting 45 minutes for my order. I understand that it gets busy, this isn’t an attack on the workers who are working as hard as they can. The problem clearly is management, they need to hire more people, especially on evenings when people are out getting dinner after a long day. Provide more staff and better training. And get workers to wait hear nets when preparing food!!!

Hi Jonathan Amos, Upon visiting the Burrito Bar in Portside of which you are the Restaurant Manager) we also noticed that your cooks and FOH are not wearing masks (please see photo). We also noticed that your reviews are quite bias considering you gave all Burrito Bars 5 star reviews. I would be alerting Authorities for breaching during cooking and serving food with photos.Also google and LinkedIn, your management style needs to change and support locals rather than going around and giving bad reviews to get sympathy.

Went here for a late dinner on a Monday night for the $2.50 tacos and had a fantastic time. Our waitress Aria made sure we had everything we needed and was very attentive. There were a few mishaps in the kitchen due to the flooding and some foods weren’t available but the staff made up for it by recommending other items from the menu. All in all we had some great food and a delicious Churro cocktail that was to die for! Thanks Aria!

Paid $14.95 for a "burrito", more like rice in a wrap. Dregs of meat, minimal cheese, pico de gallo, and very bland flavour. As a local I've gone here a few times but the vast majority of the time am left disappointed. For a place called The Burrito Bar you'd expect they make amazing burritos but they suck. The chicken one tastes like cardboard. It's mostly just rice in a wrap with some sauce and for the prices they charge it's a huge ripoff. Nachos with chilli beef are ok flavour wise but the portions are hugely inconsistent. Overall their food is inconsistent and over the years only once have I eaten food from here I thought was particularly flavourful. Only reason I keep returning is it's convenient, local burritos and they're open a little later than most other places.

Absolutely atrocious service and even worse quality food. Literally waited 25 minutes for a take away burrito! The whole point in a take away burrito, is to NOT BE WAITING 25 MINUTES! If they were busy, I could understand, however, I was literally the only one there. And after specifically asking for no beans, my burrito had beans. The staff have absolutely no idea what day it is. No need for a "reply from the owner" Just sharing my experience

We arrived between 12 and 1pm on a Sunday and it was pretty busy. The staff seemed very busy and a little distracted but still reasonably polite. Food came out quickly and each of us had ordered some thing different (family of 4, 2 adults and 2 children between 6-9), & everyone enjoyed there food. Was a little pricey for what we got but it probably has more to do with the location as it's a nice little spot to sit.
