Eric's Noodle

This soupy mess was supposed to be a Kung Pao Seafood stir fry with extra broccoli & egg. I rang to inform the kitchen that what I had received was not a stir fry but an inedible soup. They did offer to replace immediately however this was of no help to me as my lunch break was over and I had wasted all of my time driving to get this disappointing mess. Not to mention it cost me $15! There were 2 prawns, 2 pieces of squid and a few fake seafood pieces. You can clearly see the extra egg I paid for all scrambled in the soup and maybe one or two pieces of broccoli that also cost extra. It was inedible and went straight in the bin.

My husband and I have been eating here for the past two years. Went online to see the reviews and disappointed a few have rated it less than 5 stars! Absolutely delicious tasty home cooked food that’s NOT packed with MSG. I don’t believe they use any MSG at all yet all their noodles are so delicious fried with garlic and tasty sauce. The owner had mentioned to us how they weren’t trying to make it overbearing with favour and they got the balance just right in a natural way. Decent price considering the high quality. If you want a more ‘budget’ option outside of great specials: order their custom standard “pick a noodle for $7.50” and add a meat like beef, pork and chicken for $3 because it already includes mixed vegetables and egg. My favourite noodle house ever! You can create your own recipe with all of the fresh ingredients and flavours at a great price. The staff are nice and friendly to introduce you all different sauces you may never try before, you won't regret no matter which one you have chosen!! This is "must eat" Taiwanese cuisine if you ever come to Brisbane!!
