The eatery is a tiny hole in the wall that you can easily walk past without noticing. The place is not fancy but the food is spot on. I had to wait a little bit for my food but it was worth the wait. The roast pork bun was hot, crispy and tasty- top choice. Same as the fish bun. For $5 or $6 per bun, that’s really decent for a cheap eat. I liked the combination of the ingredients. Everything was fresh and tasty. Although I think the sauce was too generous, cut back on the sauce and it’s perfect!

Absolutely my favourite Bao in Brisbane! The noodles definitely pack some heat but can't fault this place! Also love the general vibe and can mix and match with food and drinks from next door places with the relaxed environment.

Delcious bao & main dishes. Pork bao was so flavourful. But rather addicted into chicken bao.(I hate cucumber so I ordered not to put in my 2nd visit lmao) It's crispness and juiciness is incredible!! Cooked and served by 2 beautiful staffs with great services. Open-air but cozy space it is.

Casual & hippy, serving small selection of Asian street food. Bao is fresh, fluffy & flavorful! Great for catch up with drinks.

Delicious as always but definitely a lot more expensive than I'm really happy with. They used to have a bundle special which doesn't seem to be available anymore, which meant this was about 20% more than it used to be.
At least the quality is still high, and admittedly it's cheaper than other gourmet bao available like at the Night Noodle Markets.

Delicious buns. Had the crispy chicken, which was crispy on the outside and succulent within. Spicy mayo and jalapeños topped it off nicely!
Also had hoisin duck, crispy bits in there gave it a great crunch. (No photos as I inhaled. It's before buying a third ;))

While at the National Achievers Congress, its was lunch time and I asked Google where's the best Bao buns in town.
Well due to the ratings I was Lead to Mr. Buns west end Brisbane .
Honestly these electric scooters r a hit to get us all places real fast as well and that's what I needed express transport to lunch and back to the convention center..
I ordered a trio of the famous Bao which consisted of: crispy Pork, Crispy Chicken and my favourite the mushroom Bao, this 1 is so extremely delicious I wanted more but had not enough time. But I'll be back Mr. Buns.
Yes guys, I would totally recommend dropping in and given Mr. Buns menu a go and share it with the rest of us...... Enjoy
