Sushi Train

I was here for dinner with a friend. Despite being very busy we managed to get a seat easily. For a sushi train the service is traditionally what you expect. The food itself was very average overall for the price point you pay. Because of the business the service was also slow at time which was to be expected. For a quick meal with a novelty experience, it's definitely worth a visit.

Most of the sushi is good and the quality is mostly consistent. Occasionally, I'll get items that are fall apart quite easily. When requesting utensils and condiments for delivery things have been inconsistent. Half the time I won't get chopsticks at all. Other times I'll get a random quantity of soy sauce and ginger whether I ordered it or not. Sometimes those things won't be included at all. Not great when all of those things are paid for when ordering it for delivery.

BEWARE!!!!! This restaurant is taking advantage of teenage kids who's very keen to have their very first job! The Manager of Sushi Train Carseldine apparently, used my daughter for Free Labour! She let her work for 3 hours and extended her for another hour just because it was too busy, but she didn't even have the decency to update her whether she did get the job or not! I am not surprised why you guys are always under staff!!!

Our local station serves as our favourite sushi input. Be careful with your timing, as the store can be extremely busy during peak times. Have waited 45+ minutes for a takeaway order after being told 20-30 minutes, but in the grand scheme of life, it’s not the worst thing that can happen to you. Seriously. Especially if you’re chowing down on a wagu capsi ship at the end!
