Kfc

The service was very fast, that's the only good point. I ordered one of their new bowls with slaw and chicken. Ate the chicken first, very very spicy, and I am used to Indian spices but that was beyond! And the Slaw was just unedible as it was so horribly sour....couldn't eat it. And not like a lemon sour, some kind of chemicle sour, and everything was soaked in it...just gross

Revolting & inedible. I just wasted $35. This rubbish went straight in the bin. The chips were unseasoned (despite asking for extra seasoning), cold, old & browned, soggy and the box less than half filled - for $5. The 6 nuggets were soggy & old nuggets & in a box with 2 old, dry as could possibly be, inedible re-fried chicken pieces - for the total price of around $35. It's disgraceful that KFC is somehow allowed to sell this rubbish to consumers.

If you reside in Fortitude Valley and have the means or option to, I would highly recommend ordering from Kelvin Grove KFC over this restaurant any day of the week, regardless of proximity. The main reason being that the quality control is atrocious. You will either receive small portions of undercooked/overcooked chicken that is more or less drenched in oil. I understand it's fast food but when you open the box and the bottom is so saturated and falls through because of the amount of oil, that is a huge concern. The chips are either stale or soggy and usually barely reach the maximum capacity of the size of the box. Delivery wait times are also very poor and missing/poorly packed items are a common occurence. Not quite sure what the deal is, if the staff are just too "busy", don't care or a mixture of both but this place needs a complete overhaul. Perhaps more indepth training, a standard level of how operations should be done on a daily basis or even a change in management. Being right in the middle of the Valley Metro food court, this place should strive to be a paragon of quality, especially during peak hours when people are commuting and need an easy, fuss free option for meal time. If I could rate this place a negative 1 I would, but unfortunately that option is unavailable. Take your business elsewhere, consider a different food option or order from a different KFC with a better understanding of how things are meant to be done, especially in regards to quality and consumer satisfaction.

Just arrived at the store. There was nobody in line at the counter so I stood there to order. The staff member then came over and told me it'd be at least 5 minutes before they can take my order and, as such, suggest I use the self serve machine to place my order. I don't mind using a self service machine so this is not the issue. I just cannot fathom why a KFC store would have tills for direct ordering with nobody there waiting yet say they cannot serve you for at least five minutes. What a joke....

This store seriously needs to look at cutting off their Uber eats orders during peak hours. People having to wait 20 mins after ordering at the counter is a joke because of the sea of Uber eats muppets flooding the place who can’t seem to get their pick ups an get out of the way. Just a complete mess. Would have been 10 customers behind me that saw the mess at the counter and just walked away an ordered from gyg 2 doors down .
