The Ivy Clifton Brasserie

Such a good afternoon tea. The sandwiches and little cakes were so tasty and I’m happy I waited for a table. The drinks were super tasty, the strawberry and mint margarita is life changing. Also, the staff was incredible. Shout out to Aksha for being so nice and easy to talk to. She was so considerate and I never was left wanting for more tea or extra jam. Definitely recommend

I have had a few poor experiences at the ivy Oxford and so I have been hesitant to visit the Clifton restaurant. However, the experience my girlfriend and I had completely surprised me, from the kindness of the staff to the quality of the food in all regards was absolutely superb. Our waiter in particular, Alex, was incredibly attentive, very kind and made our experience just that much better. I will be back very soon and look forward to it.

The restaurant is well managed, has ample staff who are well mannered, and give you adequate time to get seated and decide menu choices. The food was well presented and given the price good quality and quantity. Parking is a nightmare but given time is acceptable for the area. With a three hour limit for non resident parking zone diners.

So we went to Clifton Ivy last Monday and although the service was good and our teas came on time, there was an absolutely horrible fish smell going on in the air, now I don’t know if this was a one time thing or that’s how the interiors always smell but I have to be honest and say I had to get out after half an hour since I was getting a headache with the mixture of fish smell and a perfume I feel they sprayed in the air to cover the smell? Which frankly made it worse. But I wanna be fair and say the cream tea was really nice and I loved it, the servings tray however was a bit slippery and only stood crooked
