Brewhouse & Kitchen - Bristol

I visited Saturday on the brewing experience day which was an awesome experience day led by Tom and assisted by Walt. We were made very welcome, every aspect of the brewing process was carefully explained by Tom and we were able to assist with the process. Tom is a very good teacher with knowledge and experience which he willingly shares. We were included as though we were part of his team and not merely casual visitors. A wide choice of food was available from the menu for our lunch and we enjoyed excellent beer throughout the day. And a 5 litre keg to take home

Stopped in for lunch on a trip to Bristol with the dogs. Staff are very friendly and attentive, drink options were extensive with some good craft options and the food menu had plenty of choice. My wife ordered one of the lunchtime specials (duck rosti) and proclaimed it delicious. I ordered the bacon cheeseburger and yep, I concur. Very good burger, though smaller than I expected. Made up for it with the deliciousness though. Also one of the best mac n cheese sides I've had! Dogs were also well looked after, with water bowls provided along with table water (also provided unrequested, but gratefully!)

Love this place. Cozy and warm atmosphere. Family friendly too. Very knowledgeable staff at the bar who clearly gave us info on the differences of the ales and helped us make good choices too. Love the drinks and food (very filling, lightly battered fish and chips). Friendly staff overall. Had a very pleasant experience. UPDATE: Just had a nice dinner with family yesterday and it's still one of our favourite pubs in the neighbourhood. Friendly, welcoming, and professional staff. Vibe is relaxed and laidback. Lots of options in the menu, including for vegetarians/vegans. They could, however, make some improvements in the portion size of the calamari but it was tasty. Overall, a good experience once again.
