Snobby's

A few weeks ago we booked out the indoor space at Snobbys for our engagement party. From the get go, Nick and his wonderful team were so helpful in helping us plan and co ordinate the evening, and make sure it went off without a hitch! It was a huge sucess, all our friends and family absolutely loved the place, and still cant stop raving about it. Huge thanks to the chef and their very creative team for ensuring that all members of the party were well catered for- we had a number of dairy free/gluten free/ soy free/ vegetarian/ nut free guests and the quality of all the food provided was second to none- nobody felt that they were missing out! This is one of our favourite local spots in Bristol and it was a joy to be able to share it with all our nearest and dearest-no doubt we'll be back very soon to enjoy a plate of pasta and a glass of Snobbys Rose!

This is a bona fide Italian restaurant, of which there are few in Bristol. As an Italian myself, I have high standards when it comes to food. Snobby's delivers, and then some. Wonderful location with a beautiful terrace for al fresco dining. Delicious food (we ordered half the menu to try everything when we went there, not a single item disappointed!). Great wine. Very attentive staff. You can see the passion the chefs have for serving up great food. We will be back! Grazie Gio' alla prossima!

I have been to Snobby’s twice now and will definitely be returning. The food here is amazing, the interior and atmosphere of the restaurant is very nice and the service is also great. The duck is exceptional and a must have if you’re going! Both times, everyone I was with couldn’t believe how good it was. The best duck I’ve ever had; tender yet crispy with gorgeous flavours in the sauce and orange. The ravioli/pansotti is also amazing with a delicious chilli and garlic oil and baby tomatoes. You must also try the chocolate and salted caramel cannoli if you have a sweet tooth! Sweet yet gorgeous flavours and super fresh. The ragu and nduja pizza was also very nice! But the duck, pansotti/ravioli and cannoli are top 3. Can’t wait to come back.

We had a great evening in this splendid independent Bristol restaurant and wine bar . The staff were extremely friendly and knowledgeable about the food and drink they are serving. The small plate meals are a great mix of southern Italian dishes lovingly served up by their chef JP and his excellent team in the kitchen. Nick (the owner) has a wide and varied selection of quality wines. The atmosphere is lovely, capturing the charm of Chandos road with its long culinary history. Thoroughly recommend.

Quite simply the best meal I’ve had in Bristol. We ordered a selection of small plates, a side and a pizza to share between two and every single dish was delicious. The depth of flavour was impressive and all the dishes complemented each other perfectly. Great wine list and upbeat atmosphere, with the friendliest, most enthusiastic service. Absolutely can’t wait to go back.

A beautifully presented gastropub/wine bar in a peaceful, pretty neighbourhood. A labour of love for the owner. Very tastefully finished and furnished by an observant eye. We enjoyed very good wine, theiir own beer and very good food- all cooked by the owner because chef was sick. Highly recommend. Really worth a visit. 😊
