We went for the Sunday roast. I'll start with the good things - excellent service, a great roomy interior with lots of natural light, pleasant neutral decor, background music not too loud. Delicious coffee and chocolate mousse pudding. Sadly, the mains weren't great. The chicken schnitzel was supposed to be served with fries but wasn't, and we had to ask for them (we did get them, and they were fine). The schnitzel and salad were very nice, and so was the roast beef, but the Yorkshire pudding's crust was burnt and the roasted potatoes were hard and dry. All in all, four stars.

We dropped in for a few drinks after a meal, we both had gin and tonics, the staff were very friendly and there was a great atmosphere there. We sat outside and the outside area was full, very chilled and relaxing. Top marks

Went there to play Blood on the clocktower which was great. But also the place itself is vibrant, spacious and full of musical events like Jazz and open mic. Will visit again.

Had a good visit for a pint and a pizza - pizza was tasty but took a second to get there! We sat outside which was nice, inside was a little quiet and didn’t have the same pull as the garden. Definitely worth a visit though!

Not been here for a gig before - well perhaps, but can't recall who I saw! The upstairs room is a nice space with good lighting and acoustics. I was seeing Laura Cantrell

Great pub with reasonable priced drinks for the area. Pizza is good here also think they do daily deals. Cocktail club & similar.
Also they have a comedy club out back. Big stand up comedians have done sets here.
