Georges Fish Bar

Excellent fish, chips & sausages with a strong selection of food and drink. Some of the food is cooked to order but some may be ready and in the cabinets so you can be in and out in five minutes. Portion sizes can vary a bit, especially with the fish but its all weighed and you'll always get your fill. Friendly staff, consistently good food, options to order online, in person or over the phone for delivery or collections. Very good value for money!

Fish was fab, chips were great, mushy peas were a little on the watery side though. The fish shop has really moved on from when I went in there as a kid, ultra clean and modern counters and overall good quality, six portions of fish 5 regular and 1 large, a pie, two large chips and 3 regular chips was just under £50 so not bad on value. The access ramp for disabled could do with a face lift to match the storm. I wouldn't want to go up it in a wheel chair.. couple of parking spaces out front but limited if you can't park there then there is always the side roads or the blue bowl opposite Overall would say it's very nice was all fresh and tasted good. Have been to a few local that I would say are better but it's not going to stop me recommending. Apparently in the top 50 in the country, how that's worked out I have no idea but can only mean good things
