Farro Bakery

A fantastic little bakery with delicious pastries! The spiced bun is my favourite - so fluffy and yet has a nice crunch to it. Their croissant is a classic go to - perfectly made and never disappoints! The coffee is a different story though. unfortunately it’s well below average. Such a shame as it’s not on the same par as their bread and pastries. This is the reason for giving 4 instead of 5 stars. But Farro is still my favourite bakery in Bristol regardless.

This place is amazing. The best pastel del nata ever! The pastry on it is so light, flakey and delish! I also had a wonderful kouign aman here, and the Bramely apple filled one was amazing!! However on the last 3 occasions, the puff pastry for both of those was TOO SALTY! The baker had changed and whoever is making it, is doing it differently. Please bring back the other person! I still like this bakery and give it 5 stars for the quality of the food. I tried a few other items, but my standout is that pastel del nata. 😄 Update: it is still a favourite and come here every time I am in town. Went today and ate 3 of the pastel de natas!

Recently, I was delighted to stumble upon a local treasure, Farro Bakery, which thoroughly impressed me with its expertly brewed coffee and a delectable array of fresh pastries. The rich, aromatic coffee, a product of various globally-sourced beans, was only surpassed by their assortment of pastries, each one a perfect blend of textures and flavours, making every bite an indulgence. Friendly and passionate staff add a personal touch, setting this establishment apart from larger chains. If you appreciate fine coffee and gourmet pastries, missing out on this place would be a true disservice to your taste buds.

To be honest it's a harsh 4. This place is blooming excellent. The custard tart in the image was eye wateringly delicious. I also had rustic cheese and rosemary scone that I can't remember I ate it so quickly. Dropped a star for coffee and don't get me wrong it's still very good coffee but alongside the food it didn't weigh up. Have and will continue to recommend. Great work team keep it up.
