Jo's Tea

This is my favourite bubble tea shop and brand (There are 3 locations in bristol owned and managed by different people/groups). I rate their teas over others due to there being many of my favourite flavours/drinks here and no other tea brands offer them. However, their lychee boba is disappointing and would even go to CUPP for them before here. You do pay more here, esspecially for the more complicated drinks, but if you pay £5 normally for a bubble tea how much worse is £7-8! The staff are nice and there are a few seats inside and outside the shop which I appreciate.

Me and my friend ordered the oreo milk boba and we thought we would have to order the cheese foam separately so we ordered one until the staff asking us whether if we were sure that we want to have double cheese foam. My friend asked the staff if she could get the money back for the milk foam since we didnt want a double milk foam. The staff instead of returning the money, she gave us extra tapioca WHICH WAS SO NICE. The interior of this shop is also SO PRETTY N AESTHETIC and ill probably come back soon!!!!

I originally wrote a review but I'm changing it as this is, in my opinion the best boba tea shop in Bristol. Lots of unique drink options, about 5-6 dairy free alternative milks at no extra cost, they give you a really generous amount of tapioca pearls and staff are really friendly. I believe at the moment there are 3 locations for Jo's tea but I normally order online and pick up from Park Row. Definitely try this place.

The best, and I mean the best bubble tea I have ever had! It is very nice and the staff is also kind. The bubble tea is evidently made with great skill, thus having great taste. The range of flavours and toppings is endless. You can’t beat the original bubble tea with tapioca, but I recommend popping boba, especially the multi flavour popping boba. The reason why this is 4 starts is because of the queue. Went here at 16:00 and was told to wait for 40 mins for a single bubble tea! I don’t blame them, because the tea there is amazing!

For my first time being here it was absolutely amazing! I went with a friend who regularly comes here during her work breaks and she cannot praise the Business highly enough. At first I was nervous to try the ‘Black Sugar’ tea and usually my order would always be ‘Brown Sugar’ but the employee reassured me this was the same, despite the slight wait I knew for sure everything was fresh and as a result it tasted amazing. One thing to fault was when I did take it away there was a small hole at the bottom of one of the drinks I ordered (I ordered 3) and so this was disappointing but it wasn’t massive and was just dripping slightly, but I know the Business is hard working and the drinks tasted amazing! So definitely leave a 5 star ❤️✨ Will definitely return!

Probably the best bubble tea place we’ve had in the UK. It can get busy so you can order online via their website and pay, and then collect at an allocated time, saving you having to queue up. The bubble tea itself was great. Tapioca balls were sweet, soft and had a nice chew to them. Added bonus of also offering milk alternatives. If you’re looking for a bubble tea place in Bristol, this is the one to go to.
