Legit!! One of the best patties I have had in NYC! Coco bread as well. Freshly made. They sell a variety of other Jamaican bread. Cash only.

I lived on 226 st. In 1970 probably one of the first customers...would walk pushing baby carriage. My daughter is now 54 and we still buy their baked goods a plenty. Last time I was in NYC I spent over $100.00.

I always come here for my patties and meatloaf. And when I'm having a event I buy cocktail patties and they are always amazing and everyone loves them. I recommend everything!

Co-worker, Told me about this place. Have gotta try all the different patties. Excellent coco bread. Hot, and soft . Melts in your mouth. And, don't forget the carrot juice ! So, 👍 good.

The beef patty and coco bread were truly amazing. Went on a Sunday bakery was a little sparse of other baked goods but the patties and coco bread were coming out hot abundantly fresh.

Been coming here since I was a kid, used to live right down the street. Now that I moved away this is still the only place I go for patties and coco bread. Everything good, beef, chicken, vegetable, meatloaf. Bun and cheese and bread pudding are also delicious. Hard dough bread, end bread, every single thing I ever get from here has just been perfect. I hope this place never leave and I love the fact that the same woman I used to see when I was a child is still there. Just make sure you figure out what you want before you come to the counter

Wow, that was a great reminder of home. Beef filling was perfectly flavored with a flaky golden yellow crust with a warm buttery soft coco bread. Had it with a Kola Champagne D&G soda. Well worth the 13 mile trip. Just wish they had even outside seating to enjoy the delicious food!

I've been coming here since 1980! They still have the best cocoa bread and patties in the bldcot laand, ya undastaan!!!? I live in DC and I still make the trip uptown to get a box!
