Cka Ka Qellu

Absolutely loved this place! First time eating Albanian food and was satisfied with every food item. Started with pepper dip and burek (cheese) served with fresh bread. Then got Fasul and Qebapa, both so tasty. Too full for dessert but will definitely go again! With only two people on the staff when we went, they were very efficient. Got a little busier as it got closer to 8pm so 6pm was the perfect time.

I’m an avid foodie, and I’ve been in NYC searching high and wide for the best food experiences for months now. I have found it. Every dish here is INCREDIBLE. We had the sausage dip, the mantia në tavë, and the skenderberg (Albania’s national dish). Afterward, we got the baklava and some Albanian cafe. Everything was rich and tasty, but not too filling either. Bring a whole group of people and try a little bit of everything. The atmosphere is amazing. You genuinely feel transported out of NYC into Albanian folklore. The service is great too. I genuinely can’t recommend this place any higher.

I saw the manhattan location of this restaurant on TikTok and the food looked great! When I found out there was a Bronx location I was shocked and eager to give this place a try. We arrived and were quickly greeted by a lovely waiter who showed his knowledge of the food and culture. He made phenomenal recommendations that we scarfed down. The food was beautifully plated and extremely filling. I would most definitely come back over and over again

Great experience! We went to see the New York botanical gardens and found out this wonderful restaurant was not too far. Both experience combine makes it wonderful day up in the Bronx. The food here was amazing. I'm from San Diego and and I've never tried this cuisine but it was very enjoyable. I had a meet dip with fresh big bread right out of the oven. It was something similar to like a Mexican queso dip. I also had a yogurt dip with pastries filled with beef. Both were rich and satisfying. Hi marks for also the decor in the restaurant completely sweeps you away to another part of the world with articles and clothing and artifacts from the country. Background music was also authentic and very soothing.
