The food was very yummy and fresh. I ordered the ackee and saltfish with fried dumplings and plantains . The line moved quickly and the customer service was very good.

For this to be named the dumpling shop, the dumplings aren't as soft as I'd like. They were pretty tough and bland. The fish and plantain were seasoned and very tasty. The added onions were raw, not what I was expecting; I was expecting a little pickling flavor, not raw onions cut up. Not bad but not the best.

Great place, Nice Caribbean people. Outdoor seating if you wanted to. This was a taste of home for me and I enjoyed it.

Food is delicious but portions are small (mainly rice) and I would say expensive as well. So it doesn’t really pan out especially when compared to similar restaurants in area. However they do offer entertainment in the evening hours so that’s fun. I’m not sure if they still have it but previously had karaoke. The crowd is always fun with live bands.

Super nice people! Party atmosphere. Great service. Awesome food! The curry goat I can never find and this place made it exceptionally good! I got the medium size which I will take 3 days to eat. So much and so good! I will go out of my way to come back for sure 😊

Customer service leaves a lot to be desired. The food is amazing such as the jerk penne. The dish as been on my mind for weeks since my last visit. You must try if you can endure the inefficient services. Love to support business of color but professionalism always seems to be a big hurdle for most.

I’ve been coming to the cove since 2017. Still yummy as always. I’m happy to see the new steam tables in the front to make service more efficient. If I had to knit pick I’d say to keep the outside tables clean. They were all soiled, I had to clean one my self so I could sit down and have my breakfast.

This food was everything! Fresh and hot!! I had fish with okra pumpkin in a thick flavorful sauce that was perfect!!!
Even the fruit punch was super.fresh cold and refreshing. My friend who is Jamaican has been coming here for years I never knew about this gem right here in The Bronx and they have an outside patio and a small parking lot I definitely will be coming back and trying more items from the menu the service was excellent and I even got to meet the only who was very friendly. A must visit!

This place is quiet a treat! If you are craving for great tasting Jamaican cuisine, this place will please your palate. I tried a few of their dishes and I must say that their friend dumpling is a little bit dry. The salted fish with pickled onions and peppers was great! The curried goat meat was excellent. I also like the decor of this place. It’s spacious and the servers are very polite. I would go back to this place again! Happy eating ♥️.
