The Clock Bar & Cafe

The Clock Bar is a very cute place to have drinks dinner and a dinner date. I like the menu which is diversified and interesting. Im somewhat in the know about the place but that doesn't detract from the the atmosphere and the charm. If youre in the Bronx stop by we dont bite, unless you want us to bite. The Clock bar is like having a slice of Manhattan in the Bronx.:D

This was not my first time....it was my 3rd or 4th and the service remained the same....GREAT!. Yesterday I sat again and ate ALLLLL of my food, plus bottemless mimosas!!!! Now you may want to get all dressed up for the place...that's cool ..great food should be greeted by great looking poeple, although it aint necessary...This restaurant welcomes you as you are with great food, music (live on Sat), and again..GREAT SERVICE...I made a friend yesterday.... I entered just at the end of the their brunch....did that stop the great service?...NOOOOOO..My glass was never empty, the waiter was pleased that I moved like Dr. Suess to get their before brunch ended...and we re-named their best dessert ever....You think you had red velvet cake before....WELL, they have...'Better than Red Velvet"..Please request it......it will make you close your eyes, and envision a giant sweet kiss as you lick your lips....YUMMY in my TUMMY!!! Yeah to the clock for not loosing their hustle and keeping the flow RIGHT!!!

A swanky new establishment in the most gentrified part of the South Bronx, the Clock serves very good food and a full variety of fancy cocktails averaging about $12 each. My favorite drink here is the Bee's Knees, a mix of gin, tonic water, honey and lemon. The menu also includes flatbreads, hummus platters, a quinoa and avocado burrito, kale salads and a few other vegetarian options. We really enjoyed the 90s soundtrack last Thursday night, but didn't think our party of five warranted an automatic 20% gratuity added onto the bill. On the weekends they feature a prix fixe brunch, but I haven't yet been.

Cool spot in a great neighborhood - these guys are rad. Aside from the great food - salmon crustinis and meatballs being among my very favorites, they make a fantastic martini. The staff is great and location couldn't be more convenient to upper Manhattan. I strongly recommend you check it out. **can't beat the prices either.
