Fresh Smoothies & Cafe

Very popular spot. Smoothies and the salads are good. However the manager or owner needs to come up with a better system to make the food stations more efficient. It causes confusion and long wait times to get a salad or smoothie. More often than not the grilled chicken for salads runs out. Times vary thoughout the day. The toppings could use variety and at times it can look a little stale. Overall it is a good spot for a healthier food option that is severely lacking in this area.

I went there couple hours ago and me and my sister were able to enjoy one of the best smoothies we have ever taste in our life. Great costumer service. The name of the employee that made our smoothies is Milly and she is just great at what she does! I would definitely going back to this place when ever I be back in New York.

I can say nothing but good things about this place. They have a huge menu with a lot of selections. Their prices are fair. Everything is very fresh and tasty. I was satisfied with the service I received and the quality of what I purchased. It’s great to see a shop selling healthy food and beverages at fair prices. I’d recommend stopping here anytime.

I love the smoothies and the food from this place so much. However, going in person ruins it for me. The ladies there tend to be rude and don't acknowledge your presence sometimes. If their smoothies weren't bomb, i would have stopped going to this store a while ago. I recommend the mamey, Popeye smoothie, and the Caribbean Sun.

I visited this cafe with some friends & was pleasantly surprised that such a healthy place existed so close to Fordham Road. There were four of us ordering smoothies & it seemed like the workers weren’t used to taking that many orders at one time, & the girl working behind the counter seemed to only speak Spanish, but she & the other woman working back there were really nice & we eventually communicated well enough to be understood. There were a few stools opposite the smoothie/healthy drinks side & I guess that was technically the cafe, but it was sort of small: not a place to sit with more than one or two friends. The smoothies were very good & reasonably priced, & they even have an option of making your own smoothie/juice combo. Lots of fresh looking fruit too. We plan to go again since we’re often in that area in search of a healthier meal than the local Checkers or White Castle.
