Mary’s Morning Mixup

This might be my new go to in the morning after work. Very pleased in the customer service and the quality of the food. Did a mention they have homemade donuts? I was very happy and satisfied trying this new breakfast spot out. Great patio seating as well. My son loved there creative kids menu. It's a hidden gem off the main street and I drive by all the time I wish I woulda drove a block over sooner. Great experience this morning after getting off duty. Keep up the great food!

I just found my new favorite breakfast/lunch restaurant! Came here on a Sunday, as expected it was very busy,however, we were seated quickly. The entire staff from check in to check out were extremely professional and friendly. We were amazed at how quick the food came out and it was absolutely delicious! Everything tasted fresh. My four year old especially loved her Mickey Mouse pancakes. The ambiance is so nice, very fun decor and laid back vibe. Mary is an absolute sweetheart. We are members of Brookfield zoo which is just a few minutes down the road from here so we will back I’m sure!

Great local breakfast place serving delicious baked goods! Came on a rainy Friday morning, but looks like they have outdoor seating. My friend and I were greeted and seated right away. The interior decor from the decorations on the tables and the egg on the ceiling was cool! Loved the smiley face mugs. They also had these themed skeletons “eating” at a table, decorated for the fourth. Definitely big portions, something you can share. Highly recommend to try one of the baked goods! All staff was very friendly and fair prices. The complimentary donuts were soo good! Highly recommend if you’re in the area.

What a very pleasant restaurant. My breakfast was simply delicious. We came from California, and a local resident brought us to the restaurant, where we were taken to a table by the owner of the place. The one big room was decorated to please adults as well as children. My husband ordered the red velvet french toast, I had crepes, both were delicious . The staff manifested the enthusiasm of the beautiful owner. Beauty and and intellect were the best traits of the owner. I will be back when I travel back to Chicago again.

One of my favorite breakfast spots! Super cute atmosphere, friendly service, reasonable prices & very good food. Love their coffee, eggs Benedict, cake slices & warm donuts! Just had the lemon berry marscapone cake today & it’s delish. Also tried a vanilla chocolate cake with nuts. The red velvet cake with cream cheese frosting is perfection! So good! Mary, the owner is super nice and thanked me for continuing to support their small business.
