We had a fair meal the price was a good value for the amount of food we were served. The mac and cheese was very good and would recommend. My wife and I had the brisket found the flavor excellent however very dry and tough. I know city folks want lean meat but we out here want some fat for more flavor and tenderness. We also had the onion rings and would have been better if cooked a little longer. Our daughter had the hot wings and they we very good. We understand this is a new restaurant and Brookfield needed a good restaurant and I believe this could be it. We will give this restaurant another try for sure because we wish to support local businesses. This is the third owner in this restaurant with the first being awesome, the second was so bad we quit going and this one has potential to keep us coming back for more.

4 - price 4 - service 1 - food Sorry, but if you specialize in Steak and BBQ, those things should be good. They weren't. I ordered BBQ sampler. I got brisket, ribs, and pulled pork. The brisket was slices of tough, tasteless meat. Pulled pork ok, but no flavor. Ribs were very good though. Came with small tub of ice cold BBQ sauce. But since meat wasn't that hot, pouring ice cold BBQ sauce on it didn't help. Waitress offered a room temp BBQ sauce replacement. It came, but was still pretty cold. I did not like that. Plus, only 1 BBQ sauce variety. My friend got Rib Eye steak. He said it was totally tasteless. On good side, my friend got a carrot cake for dessert and reported it was very good.

We were pleasantly surprised by the interior from the looks of the outside. We were seated immediately, as they were not super busy. Our table was dirty, food crumbs and drink rings from the previous diners. It took several minutes for someone to take our drink order, so we decided to not order appetizers because we had more than adequate amount of time look over the menu and decide on our meal. One of our drinks were flat and needed changed out, no big deal, the baby knocked over some water, no big deal. However, it took until our food arrived for someone to acknowledge us and get a new drink and offer napkins to clean up up the water. The food was great. We have zero complaints about the food. It was what we ordered and tasted good. We were not offered drink refills, only were asked how our food was when we were ready for our check and a box. At payment we were told a $1 charge for credit cards although we didn’t see it posted anywhere. The hostess asked about our dining experience and when we expressed all this to her there was no offer to speak to a manager or the chef etc. More or less we felt completely blown off and ignored from start to finish. The table beside us full of men drinking beer never had an empty glass and the server was at their table many many times checking on them. So, we know good service is possible, just apparently not to me and my family.
