Destefano's Steak House

Destefano’s is all about the food. The decor is old school with photos of family and friends scattered along the walls. Some of the finest cooked steaks. Both the New York strip and filet mignonette were both exceptional. Don’t see on the seafood either. The BBQ shrimp appetizer was spot on. It’s pricey but definitely give these folks a try!

Went there the first time for our anniversary dinner. The food was delicious and the service fantastic. Then they moved and we went for a birthday dinner. Food is still amazing well worth the cost. Service is top form without the condescending stuffiness. Just well mannered people. Would absolutely recommend for special occasions and just because you deserve a good meal.

My favorite steakhouse in Brooklyn. Food is always on point, an the service is always top notch. The porterhouse for 2 is the mvp of the menu, always perfectly seasoned and cooked. Definitely recommend getting it rare. Favorite side award goes to the creamed spinach. Family style steakhouse perfect for any special occasion.

A friendly, cozy steakhouse found in Brooklyn. No pretences here, just great staff, a friendly atmosphere, and delicious food. It is definitely worth the trek out from Manhattan. Reservations for dinner are highly recommended as this restaurant has a small dining room. The steaks are excellent - dry-aged with great marbling texture. We had the porterhouse with a side of creamed corn tonight with the Portobello mushroom and wedge salad to start. My only complaint was too much peppercorn on the steak, but otherwise everything was delicious and very flavourful. To finish off with dessert, we had the tartuffo which was sat in a delicious chocolate shell. Excellent experience and amazing staff!

This was indeed a fine dining experience! We made a reservation at 5pm on a weekday - not busy at all. The waitress was really helpful and friendly. The crab cakes were a great start. Had a light crisp, flavorful, and well-seasoned. The lamb and the prime rib were excellent. Juicy, tender, great flavor. Takes you to another planet! The creamed spinach was delicious. And the pecan pie for dessert was a fantastic end to the meal. Would definitely recommend a meal at this establishment for a special occasion!
