If I could give this a 4.5 I would. So to start, the atmosphere/vibe is immaculate. Love the walls, the bar area, the employees, everything is just awesome. Service is super good, I should've asked for the guys name but he was super nice and chill. Let's talk about the food/alcohol now: The alcohol was good. I had the "around the town" whiskey flight (local stuff). Was super good and happy. Was $30 with pretty good pours. My favorite by far was the straight malt interboro whiskey (see pictures). If you don't want to get a flight. Get that. Beer selection, they have a pilsner at the the top of the list that's made for them. DEFINITELY get that. Goes super well with the bbq and just tastes super good. Tried the hefe as well and that was alright. Stick to the pilsner, trust. The tap handles are pretty cool and their alcohol selection overall was good. I went during lunch and they didn't have a bartender at the moment so only simple drinks could've been made so I decided against their cocktail stuff but I can imagine their smoked drinks being really good, especially with their whiskey selection. Food: My wife and I got a pretty good selection (wish I had a bigger stomach for more). We got the ribs, brisket, pork belly, broccoli salad, burnt ends baked beans, half sour pickles, sausage, rolls came with everything. My wife and I differ on the order of these but since I'm writing the reviews... You get my list! I'd say stick with the brisket, (despite some other reviews) the burnt ends baked beans, and the sausage. I'm a big pickle fan and knew what I was getting into with half sour pickles and they are good for what they are but I like more of the vinegar bite with the savory bbq. They have a good crunch and a salty taste. Brisket is solid (both the top thing for my wife and I), especially with the spicy bbq and the sweet bbq sauces. Bark is good, smoke flavor, just a solid pick. I'm a big fan of broccoli salad (but a different style) which I did ask him what it was like and knew it was different than what I was used to. I like the mayo style with onion, bacon, cheddar, and some apple cider vinegar. This is more vinegar dressing (pretty light) with some red pepper, garlic, and I think coarse salt (my wife didn't like that part because there was a bit of a brunch/grind with certain bites) although it didn't bother me at all. I liked the snap and flavor of the sausage, I could see some people saying it was a bit dry but again, it is a smoked sausage, and I ended up alternating dipping it in their sauces or having it plain. I loved it honestly. Beans were awesome. Sweet, savory, and just super good. This might be a hit or miss depending on the review that you read. Overall, this seems to be the place to go for NYC, at least for what I looked up. And it's solid. Only reason I think it's not a 5/5 for me is because I've been to a lot of places in Los Angeles, Texas, and I smoke a lot of meats myself so I know what it can be. It's still definitely worth going though in my opinion. Grab some bbq (brisket, beans, and maybe some ribs), a beer, and a whiskey if that's your thing and have a good time. Hope this helps, cheers everybody 🍻

good! I had moderate to low expectations after seeing some reviews on yelp and wasn't sure what to expect but out of the three meats and two sides my friend and I shared there wasn't anything that I really disliked. Pulled pork is usually my favorite bbq menu item but surprisingly this pulled pork was my least favorite out of everything we ordered, just not much flavor to it. On the other hand the pork cheeks and beef brisket were both good, the meat was tender and flavorful without being overpowering. Brisket was a little fatty for my taste. As for sides, the broccoli salad and pickles were both welcome palate cleansers. The only thing that stood out to me as something I wouldn't recommend is the spicy bbq sauce. I like spice but it was way too spicy and had no actual flavor other than heat. Also, the person at the counter recommended 1/2 pound of meat per person, but this seemed like too much unless you're incredibly hungry or naturally have a large appetite, I think it would have been better if we'd ordered 1/4 of each and had 3/4lb to share rather than 1/2 lb of the pulled pork, 1/4 pork cheeks and 1/4 brisket

Amazing, unpretentious BBQ. Had the pork belly, the pastrami, the cheek, the joul and the pulled pork and everything was amazing. Flavor was full, smoky, and delicious. Collard greens were tasty as well, with bits of meat in them (as they should have). The rolls perfectly complemented everything with their sweet softness. Beers were awesome, atmosphere is fantastic.....laid-back, great music, everyone enjoying eating good food, having a good drink and a good time. Go early the queue can be long and seating limited

Friendly service and nice setting. The sauerkraut was a bit over it's peak ( a little bit too sour, if I might say as a German) but overall the food was really, really good. Highly recommended to everyone who loves a good BBQ

Amazing customer service straight to the walk-in----- my first time 👌. Brisket, ribs, and pastrami, along with beans and pickles, were perfectly scrumptious. The bartender was very classy and made sure my smokey maegarita was perfect. A++++ on the essence, atmosphere, food, and service.

For amazing bbq without leaving brooklyn, Fette Sau hits the spot. I enjoyed the vibe walking in, felt like every other BBQ with long picnic tables and canopies make you feel like your transported out of the city to someone’s backyard. It was amazing to smell the bbq as you walk in just brought so joy plus the TV fire place was a nice touch! The staff was super friendly. Hot tip, if you want to try more things, just as for them to make you a portion enough for one person per meat choice, so your not locked in to getting too much of one thing if your in a smaller group. They are accommodating so feel free to ask. We tried there sausage, brisket, rib, and pulled pork. The sausage was amazing pairs best with the mustard based bbq sauce. The pulled pork was a little on the drier side, but still amazing, goes best with the vinegar sauce. The brisket was great, had both fatty and meaty parts, went best with the sweet bbq or hot bbq sauce. The rib was by far the only one that didn’t need any sauce at all, meat was tender. For the sides, the coleslaw was standard but the potato salad is worth a try. Drinks were reasonably priced and strong enough. There is no table service, so be respectful and bus your table.

Hipster and trendy BBQ place in Williamsburg. Garage with high ceilings and raw style looking of how they are selling food and drinks. You must go on the line even you forgot to buy some small thing or miss something. First come first serve so when it packed, you can sit very close to another person. Remind me of cafeteria in high school. Food was good especially meat but vegetables not all of them delicious.

Great place for a drink with freshly cooked BBQ meat. Half a pound of beef brisket or pulled pork and two sides (say, coleslaw and potato salad) is more than enough for a heavy eater like me. Room for improvement? I would increase the selection of BBQ sauces. The price is above average too.
