This gem gives me tea house vibes. Its so small and tranquil.I loved the decor. So many plants, tons of natural light. It was built around a tree. I came here for breakfast on a Wednesday morning. I had the avocado and goat cheese sandwich with a maple ginger latte. The sandwich was simple and delicious. I wish the latte had more of a ginger maple flavor. CASH ONLY.

The menu line-up is very cosmopolitan with some Japanese touch. It feels a bit crowded but I would rather say in a delightful way primarily thanks to their marvelous job with the indoor decoration. All the creative efforts that went into the dishes should be praised. If there's one thing that makes me hesitant to visit this place again so eagerly: it's cash only.

This place is so delicious with a cute and whimsical decor (rustic with lots of plants). Had a matcha latte, cocktail, and the Okinawan taco rice blew me away. The meat was very tender and melt in your mouth. Cute for a brunch or date spot.

Entering this adorable little restaurant was like stepping into a whole new world. The menu was unique and the waitress was happy to make suggestions. The food was fresh, flavorful and delicious. I had a matcha cappuccino too which was a yummy take on a traditional drink. Excellent restaurant, you won’t be disappointed.

This place really does look like a small cute old fashioned house . A gem in Brooklyn, this place has such vintage vibes and it is built around this huge tall tree. I went there with my boyfriend for lunch. We ordered the Croque Madame and the Okinawan Taco rice. We absolutely loved the food, it was amazing. It was something different we ate and was totally worth the price. Food looks amazing and it tasted even better to be honest. I love their aesthetic wall decor and the color, it totally has a vintage vibe. But I would say that if you come here, especially on weekends , the wait time for a table would take 15-30 mins since it is a small restaurant and it is a cash only place. These two are the downside of this place. Other than that we had a great brunch and we loved the food. I’m definitely coming back to try more from the menu.

Cozy hidden gem in Williamsburg. Just a few seats, homemade furniture, hipster and friendly ambient.
They serve Japanese-style brunch and bowls.
Good quality-price relationship, the staff is friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this place to taste a real Williamsburg local experience.

Exactly as the name suggest, very small inside so come early and be prepared to wait. However once inside, the greenery and furniture works nice to accentuate the food. It feels like you’re walking into an abandoned wood shed in a Japanese garden. However I do think the small space made my clothes smell a bit “salmony”.
On to the food, I ordered the Japanese Hamburg steak(burger) over rice. The beef was cooked perfect and the sauce over the rice was fantastic. My wife ordered the tsukune don, chicken meatballs with a runny egg over rice. I liked the egg, seaweed rice combo in this over my rice and boiled egg combo. Great place for brunch!

I love the lunch menu here. It is a secret spot but after being taken here once, I couldn’t help but come back multiple times after. REAL Japanese comfort food is not easy to find at all! Sure you can get the cool trendy ones in Manhattan but you wouldn’t want to miss this one if you truly like simple tasty Japanese food :)

Food: Good, all of the main entrees are clean and pretty tasty. Has a unique flavor.
Service: Great. Besides the long wait as the place is small, food comes out quickly with a smile.
Overall: Solid. Place is unique based on trees growing out of the building. Must try if you’re into the experience of a fun, nyc brunch!

Its been awhile but I finally got to try this place. Its really a hidden gem. Hidden away in this wooden face building with a small sign and door.
It sits about maybe 20 people so come ready to wait, or go during a less peak time. We got the okinawan taco rice and the hamburger steak.
I had to steal more of the okinawan taco rice after every bite of my hamburger steak. The egg was perfect on the taco rice, and mixing it with the greens and sauced beef was a nice light meal. My hamburger steak was juicy and the white rice was so soft!
Next time I'm going have to come back and get some more things to share!
