Khao Sarn Thai Cusine

Khao Sarn has fallen off the wagon big time. I used to frequent their previous location on the corner of S 2nd & Bedford Ave. Back then the food was amazing. The portions have always been on the smaller side considering the price but I didn't mind a bit because it was great. Recently I was disappointed beyond belief when I ate here. Everything was horrible. Save your money and go to a better spot. I wouldn't eat this food if it was free. The two stars are for the service, decor, and the Thai tea. The Thai tea is the only thing on point. Sorry, not sorry... total trash.

I ordered a takeaway Pad Thai and was not impressed with the lack of ingredients... It was mainly rice noodle, with a smattering of bean shoots, over cooked scallion, and 5 prawns. I'm Thai and maybe I've been spoilt with good food growing up... but I can safely say this place misses the mark and we won't be ordering from again.

Surprised to see the bad reviews ! We popped in for lunch this weekend and it did not disappoint. We ordered two lunch specials, steamed spring rolls, curry noodles, egg fried rice and a soup. Everything was spot on, highly recommend the curry noodles in particular as it was quite flavorful and spiced appropriately.
