We’re here from Michigan and had Breakfast at Big John. The food is delicious but the best part is John himself. He wanted to get to know us and we had a great conversation with him about the neighborhood and our lives. Great Brooklyn experience!

Great portion size, I had some for breakfast at 8am and the rest at noon. I had a simple sunny side, rye toast, and home fries, but it was perfect, some places have dry potatoes. Excellent place for a quick breakfast. I’ll certainly be back when I’m in the area again.

DELICIOUS breakfast. Cooked perfectly! Very flavorful! More food than we could possibly eat, so awesome value for the money! Staff is incredibly friendly. Big John treats his staff and customers with respect and care. An awesome little gem in Brooklyn. Highly recommended!!

My son and I wanted to have a Ruben Sandwich while visiting from the Western USA. This place was just around the corner from our hotel. The sandwich was delicious and was great to visit with our server as we ate. Very friendly place and great food!

We were treated like family from the moment we walked through the door. Very clean, cozy, and kid friendly. The chocolate chip pancakes were a hit. Nice and fluffy. The western wrap was delicious. Home fries just right(not too well done just how I like them). They also have turkey bacon and sausage which is always a great option. What a gem. Will definitely be back.

A really nice neighborhood deli. Seems very popular for takeout too. Nothing fancy but just good honest tasty food. The bagels and croissants were great. Had eggs over hash brown, nicely done. Plus friendly staff. If you are in the area and need a quick meal on the go, this is it.

My bacon cheeseburger deluxe was fantastic made exactly how I asked for it. Place is very clean very well organized. If you're in the mood for diner food either it's fine in or takeout. This is the place. I support this restaurant/diner and you should too.
